Standing by the window, Brian stared at the campus outside, his gaze unfocused. A gentle breeze ruffled his tousled hair, the summer sun casting a radiant glow on his handsome face, drawing the attention of many female students. But along with admiration from the girls came envy and resentment from some guys, a look Brian had grown accustomed to. Three days ago, he inexplicably found himself in this world, a transfer student from the United States! And not just any transfer student — he even had a place to stay! In those three days, Brian figured out the situation in this world. It was a parallel world to Earth, with history and culture strikingly similar, except for differences in the names of modern historical figures. In today's Sakura Empire, the emperor's power had waned, with major families controlling the military and political authority, and countless smaller families under their sway. In the art academy, there were not only scions of major families but also many outstanding ordinary students. Boredly gazing out the window, Brian's face remained expressionless, but inside, he was filled with anxiety and impatience. This status panel had been around since he arrived three days ago, available for viewing whenever he wanted. But what was up with this system? Three days had passed, why hadn't it activated yet? As he entered the restroom, five students kept pacing outside, three of them soon entering, while the remaining two stood guard at the door. Passing students, seeing the scene, hurriedly averted their gaze and left, not daring to linger. Inside the restroom, Brian splashed water on his face, but the icy chill couldn't soothe the turmoil within. "What's the deal with this system? Why won't it wake up? Is it not the right time, or is there some trigger it's waiting for?" For three days, he had tried to communicate with the system, but to no avail, leaving him burning with frustration. "Whatever. I'll go back and try writing novels or drawing comics. Maybe this system is for entertainment, or if worse comes to worst, I'll try finding some animals to test it out. Who knows, maybe it's a monster-fighting upgrade system?" With resolve in his heart, Brian breathed a sigh of relief, about to leave when he noticed three guys blocking the door. Watching the scene unfold, Brian understood it all too well. Schoolyard bullying? Three days had passed, and they finally couldn't hold back? Being handsome had its own set of troubles! With great power comes great jealousy. Shaking his head helplessly, Brian didn't want to pick a fight with these three students in front of him, not out of cowardice, but... The one with the blonde hair in the middle was Tatsunori Harada, scion of the Harada family, arrogant and often bullying other students, while the other two were his lackeys, not worth mentioning! Staring Harada down, Brian spoke coldly, "You three should thank this peaceful society. Otherwise, with your level of stupidity, you wouldn't even make it past the second chapter in a novel." With a slight movement of his right hand, a black stick-like object fell into his hand. Brian didn't look away as he took a bold step forward. "Good dogs don't block the way. Move!" Brian was ready. If these three didn't get out of his way, he'd make sure they experienced the power of his self-defense stick! He wasn't someone to be messed with! Swallowing your pride? That was never an option! But after the brawl, he'd have to do everything to wake up the system, or things would get messy in the future! He was just a transfer student from the United States, while the Harada family... They were extremely right-wing extremists. Here in the Sakura Empire, if the Harada family wanted trouble with a transfer student, he truly had no way out. As Brian finished speaking, Harada stood there dumbfounded. Since elementary school, no one had dared to confront him like this. This kid in front of him simply didn't know his place! Anger!
