21st century Beauty and The Beast with a twist in cliche.

He was a beast, feared by everyone yet the highest in the social hierarchy. Yet nobody ever felt the need to question his power. He didn't even have a circle of friends, it was him and his best friend.

Isabelle Rose was the new girl, she wanted to run away from everything that was toxic- she left her past life behind to start over. All she wants is to finish high school and try to get into a very good college- so she and her father could live a comfortable life.

However things start to change when she starts to get messages from X.

Anyone could be X, her new friends- her old friends and even her relatives. Isabelle is thrown into a world of truths and lies, and a game which reveals the truth of her past.

Will she find out who X is? Or will she dance to his tunes and play the game that reveals the beasts truth and even her own.

After all it is a tale as old as time and a game as long as life.

Prologue
He walked into school like usual, with a girl by his side and his usual straight face. Hunter Grey was something, with his tousled brown hair and iridescent eyes he could fool anyone. The girl beside him had cherry cheeks and a goofy smile as she looked up at him, Hunter didn't look at her- he held his head high, claiming his dominance. Even on the dullest days, Hunter Grey would always seem to bring light to the girls who admired him for his good looks and behaviour. It was utterly stupid, having good looks and bad behaviour represents dominance- which equals to people admiring you. The brunette haired girl looked at him once more, as if she wanted to tell him something- but she frowns as he shrugged her off his shoulder. "D-Did I do something?" the brunette girl enquired, Hunter, shot her a displeasing look. The girl whimpered at his strong charisma. "Your time is up-" Hunter pauses before he furrowed his eyebrows. The girl in front of him gulps, possibly wondering how the guy she was with for a day didn't even bother to memorise her name. "Stacey," she tells him, he clicks his fingers. "You know I don't take relationships seriously." "I-I know but I thought I was different, the way you looked at me and treated me-" Stacey tried to conclude her sentence, however, was rudely interrupted by a dry laugh. "Don't you get it? No matter how I treat you- you'll always be like the others, get a grip on yourself Sally- life isn't easy." Hunter says sharply as Stacy turns to face the opposite direction. She releases a few tears as she tried to prevent her mascara from running, she fails miserably. "Stacey," she mutters to herself. Hunter Grey was a Beast. He lacked morals and values, he himself was fatality. Perhaps there could be a cure for a beast like him.
