Prologue
The Beginning Of Time
Seraphim looked in Eve's eyes as God's voice boomed from the Heavens.
Abel is dead, murdered.
When Adam hit Sera, she was hardly surprised. "What did you do to my son, you witch?!" he screamed at her. Sera lifted her chin and glared, "I didn't touch a hair on his head." she growled.
"YOU LIAR!" He shouted, as he struck her again. This time she fell to the ground, and her lip started bleeding. But she still held strong, as God's voice filled the air again.
Cain, for the murder of your own flesh and blood, I sentence you to a life of exile. Seraphim, for your willingness to follow Cain into sin, you may follow him in banishment.
It was only then that Sera let out a sob. The first time in her life that her Grandfather had spoken to her, acknowledged her existence, was to reprimand her for a crime she hadn't committed.
An anger rolled through her chest. How long had she spent praying for Adam and Abel's cruelty to end? How long had she spent crying because every member of her family had ignored her, and her suffering? It took the actions of a man to get the attention she had once begged for.
She was the grandchild of God Himself, Divinity ran through her veins...
Yet she would be remembered as the World's First Bastard, the woman born of the First Sin, a filthy Halfbreed. She would continually pay for sins that weren't her own, the sins of Men.
They'll all pay for this, Sera thought as she was thrown from the only home she had known.
