Chapter 24 Vin nearly spilled his coffee onto his keyboard when the knock at his door startled him. Fortunately, there were only a few sips of the tepid, overly sweet drink left. He polished it off, looked down at the computer. The cursor was blinking at him sternly. Two pages left, and—he checked the clock—only three hours left before it was due. Yeah, sucks to be whoever was at the door. He fastened his earbuds in place and turned the volume up. Blessed Union of Souls had the benefit of drowning out everything. Vin promised himself he could turn off the music as soon as he finished the paper. That should do it.
