Perfect Evening

Taylor walked into the bungalow and Chloe jumped down to the floor. “Want to have a movie night tonight?” Zag asked Taylor hoping that sounded good to her. “Oh, that sounds good. Do we have popcorn? We will also need candy and drinks. It is not a movie night if we don’t have the fixings to go along with it.” Taylor said to Zag excitedly. Zag smiled and said, “well, I can go to town and buy what we need. No one will be looking for me, so it should be safe.” Taylor smiled brightly at Zag. “You are so sweet. What movie will we watch though?” Taylor asked Zag. “What kind of movies do you like?” Zag asked hoping to get an idea of what she would want to see. “Are there any movies you have been wanting to see?” Zag asked and waited for Taylor to answer. Taylor smiled and told him, “I have always wanted to watch movies about vampires. I was never really allowed to watch any, but I do like the older classic style movies too.” Zag smiled and said, “okay, I will go let your parents know where I am going and then I will be back after I get the stuff.” Taylor smiled and gave Zag a kiss then headed into the living room. “Oh, can you pick up some food for dinner too? I am kind of hungry for some Chinese or Italian food. I do not know if they have any here, but if they do let me know please.” Taylor said to Zag. Zag chuckled and said, “okay dear. I will let you know what I find.”

Zag left the bungalow and headed to the main house. He knocked on the door and Collin answered the door. “Oh, hi Zag, what brings you over?” Collin asked as he let Zag inside. “I am going to go to town and get stuff for movies. Taylor wants popcorn, candy, and drinks. I want to take it a step farther and do something special for everyone if that is okay. I am also going to pick up dinner as well. She is wanting..” Zag began to say and Sarah finished with, “Chinese or Italian.” Zag looked at Sarah for a moment and Collin began laughing. Zag then asked, “I am assuming those are her two favorite types of food. It is always her go to. If you do not find the first two, then go for bbq chicken pizza with cheese breadsticks.” Sarah said to Zag. Zag smiled and said, “well, I appreciate it. I will be back, if you can let me know what everyone wants if they want anything please. This is my phone number, please shoot me a text. I do not want Taylor to know though. I want this to be a complete surprise for her.” Collin had a thought come to mind and said, “why don’t you take Scott with you? He can help you get things a lot quicker and help you carry things too.” Zag smiled and said, “that will give Margaret and Taylor some time to just themselves. I am sure they will appreciate some time together. Can you mind link Scott and see if he will come along?” Collin smirked and said, “I already did. He is on his way over here.” Sarah laughed along with Zag. “Okay, we will be back shortly,” Zag said and walked to the vehicle with Scott.

Scott drove off when they both got into the vehicle. “So what are we all getting?” Scott asked not clear one what they were going to town for. “Taylor wants a movie night, but I am planning a surprise for her and everyone else. She wants popcorn, candy, and drinks for the movies. She also wants food. I also have to go to a couple more places to get other things.” Zag answered Scott. Scott laughed and said, “well, it looks like we are on a mission. We need to be back before dark.” Zag nodded and soon they reached the town. Zag and Scott bonded while they did their shopping for everything on Zag’s list. He even found an Italian restaurant and ordered everyone food once Sarah had sent him a list of what everyone wanted to eat. Scott and Zag put the remaining items into the back and finally picked up the food. They got into the vehicle and headed back. “Not bad, we got everything done in an hour.” Scott said smiling. Zag nodded, “yes, thank you for coming along. It would have probably taken me 2 hours.” Zag said to Scott. Scott nodded and kept driving to get back. He was just as excited as Zag was for the surprise.

Sarah walked into the bungalow and saw Taylor and Margaret laughing as they sat on the couch. Margaret looked over to Sarah and smiled. “Hey mom.” Margaret greeted Sarah. Taylor turned and saw her mom and smiled. “Hey mom. What are you up to?” Taylor asked Sarah. “I need both your help real quick.” Sarah said to Taylor and Margaret. Taylor wondered what her mom needed help with, but was more than happy to help. “Sure, what do you need help with?” Margaret asked Sarah and both her and Taylor stood up. “I need help baking a couple cakes and cookies.” Sarah said with a laugh. Taylor’s smile slowly reached her ears and looked over to Margaret who was smiling just as big. Sarah smirked as she saw the girls reactions. She knew they could never say no to helping bake cakes and cookies. It was their favorite thing to do together. Taylor said, “hell yeah, let’s do it. I’ll leave Zag a note letting him know where we are.” Margaret nodded and left one for Scott as well. Sarah began laughing at the girls. Taylor and Margaret looked puzzled and Sarah said, “why don’t you mind link them and let them know instead?” Taylor face palmed herself and began laughing as well. Margaret shook her head and began laughing too. “We have a one track mind when you bring up baking cakes and cookies.” Margaret stated as she finished her note anyway.

The three walked over to the main house and began helping mix the cake batter and cookie batter. It took them around an hour to finish baking the cakes and started on the cookies. Taylor and Margaret were completely oblivious to anything going on outside of the kitchen of the main house. Zag, Scott, and Collin got started on setting things up. It took them a bit to set it all up, but finally managed to get everything done. The three of them walked into the main house with the food for dinner. Patty, Mrs. Patter, and Mr. Patter walked into the kitchen as Scott, Collin, and Zag walked in with the food. Scott had mind linked the other guards to come and eat as they headed towards the main house. Taylor smiled as they put the last of the baked cookies into the containers for later. “You found Italian food Zag?” Taylor asked with a smile and walked over to Zag. She got on her tip toes and kissed Zag, then said, “my hero.” Zag smiled as he looked down at his mate. Everyone took their container of food and sat down to eat. Taylor had the Italian food done in no time at all. Zag looked over at Taylor and chuckled. Margaret was finished just a few seconds after Taylor. Scott and Zag looked at their mates and began to laugh. “Well, at least we know they have good healthy appetites.” Scott said as he flinched away from Margaret when she went to playfully smack him.

Everyone laughed and finished their dinner. Soon, everyone cleaned up their mess and Zag handed Taylor a soft fur blanket. Taylor looked at it and fell in love with how soft it was. “Wow, this is beautiful Zag. Thank you.” Taylor said as she wrapped it around her shoulders. Zag took her outside and walked her over to the water where she saw a big screen and inflatable pools with blankets and pillow inside of them. Taylor’s eyes widened and looked around. “What is all of this Zag?” Taylor asked completely surprised. “This is the best movie night I could think of for you. What do you think?” Zag asked Taylor with a smile. Taylor wrapped her arms around him and kissed him. “This is amazing Zag. I never would have thought about any of this. Thank you so much.” Taylor said to Zag. Everyone got into their floating pools and got situated to watch the movie. Each pool had candy, popcorn, drinks, pillows, and blankets. Zag helped Taylor into the pool and then got in as well. He made sure everyone was ready and he pressed play on the remote to start the movie. Taylor snuggled up against Zag as they watched the movie.

Taylor and Zag shared the popcorn and candy. Taylor was so into the movie and still just felt so surprised and lucky that Zag had been so thoughtful. Taylor smiled as the movie ended. “That was such a good movie!” Taylor said with happiness in her voice. Margaret giggled and said, “yes, that was amazing.” Zag looked at Taylor who started yawning. “Are you ready for bed or do you want to watch another movie?” Zag asked Taylor. Taylor smiled and sleepily said, “I don’t think I can make it through another movie tonight. Could we have another movie night another night like this maybe?” Zag smiled lovingly at Taylor and said, “of course! It is getting late and I am sure that everyone is tired as well. Let’s get everything out of the water and you can head to our bungalow. I will help clean everything up.” Taylor yawned and agreed with her eyes half open. Taylor headed to the bungalow and got changed for bed while Zag and everyone else cleaned everything up and put everything away. Taylor laid down in bed and soon Zag came to bed. “Thank you for such a perfect night.” Taylor said to Zag sleepily, then fell into a deep sleep.
