To The Jet

Taylor hugged her mom and dad as Margaret drove like Margaret does, crazy and fast. Taylor sat back in the seat and breathed a sigh of relief to finally be out of there. “This is so weird. I had a dream about this. There were some things a little different that happened, but most everything was the same as my dream.” Taylor told everyone in the SUV. Margaret quickly looked in the rear view mirror at Taylor. “That doesn’t surprise me, honestly. You have always had some dreams that ended up happening in the real world.” Margaret said as she looked back at the road. Taylor chuckled a little and said, “yeah, major deja-vu.” Taylor looked out the window as she began petting Chloe. Connor looked over at his daughter and it felt so surreal that she was finally out of that terrible place. The air in the SUV was a little thick from the tension and confusion still as to what exactly caused Dr. Trey to basically kidnap Taylor. Taylor tried to escape from the reality that she had gone through while in that horrible facility. “Blue, I don’t ever want to go back there. I want that place to be shut down permanently. This is going to take awhile to move passed.” Taylor said to her wolf. “I know Taylor. It is going to take a little while to move forward. However, remember, we are special and our family and friends all are by our side finally in physical form.” Blue said trying to comfort Taylor. Taylor smiled and laid her head back on the seat.

Sarah looked back at Taylor and saw Taylor was sound asleep with Chloe curled up on her lap sleeping as well. Sarah softly smiled and then looked to see Connor watching over their daughter. Connor then looked over to his mate and smiled. “I’m so glad we have her with us again. I was going out of my mind Sarah. I never want to let her go again, even though, I know she will eventually be with her mate.” Connor said to Sarah. Sarah reached her hand towards Connor’s and lightly squeezed his hand as he put his hand into hers. “I love you my mighty alpha.” Sarah said to Connor. “Ewe, can you two wait to be all lovey and gross until we get to the jet at least?” Margaret said as she continued driving. Sarah looked at Margaret, then back to Connor and began laughing. Taylor napped for just a little bit while Margaret drove them to the jet. Taylor opened her eyes and saw she was in Zag’s office on his couch. Taylor sat up and saw Icy, Fang, and Emberto. “How did we get here?” Taylor asked happy to see her new friends were with her in Zag’s office.

Fang smiled and said, “Zag brought us when he came for you. He’s still in your world.” Taylor sat up and smiled. “I know he’s in my world. I was tired in the car so I fell asleep for a bit. I was drugged in my sleep. That is why I fell asleep in my dream. I’m so happy you three are here. It’s so nice to have friends. I need to wake up and see if we have arrived to our destination yet. I am sure Zag will be back at some point. I will see you guys when I sleep again.” Taylor said as she stood up and began hugging her friends. Icy sat down and wrapped his paw and leg around Taylor hugging her back. Taylor loved the feeling of Icy’s fur on her face. It was so soft and long. “We will see you when you sleep again. Please Taylor, be safe.” Icy said to Taylor. Taylor smiled and nodded her head. “I will be careful. I am with my family, Zag, and my friend Margaret. Zag or myself will keep you updated okay.” Taylor said and then laid back down on the couch. Icy, Fang, and Emberto watched as Taylor slowly disappeared as she woke up in her world. Emberto looked over at Fang and Icy and said, “I miss her already. I wish there was a way we could be with her all the time. We could help protect her.” Icy nodded in agreement. “Let’s go get some food. I am hungry.” Fang said as he stood up. Icy looked over and saw food appear for them. “Look, food and drinks for us. Thank you Zag.” Icy said as they walked over to the table.

Taylor woke up and saw that the sun was starting to go down. She saw Margaret was still driving and her mom had fallen asleep. “How much longer will it be? I have to go to the bathroom, like really bad.” Taylor said clenching her legs together and doubling over a little to hold it in. Connor looked around and said, “we can make a quick stop soon. There should be a gas station up ahead. Margaret, please pull in there. I am sure everyone could stretch their legs.” Margaret nodded and within a few minutes they saw the gas station. Margaret turned into the gas station and Connor got out to pump gas into the SUV. Taylor got out and began to run into the gas station. Connor and Sarah both laughed as they watched their daughter being over dramatic on having to use the bathroom. Sarah kissed Connor and said, “I am going to grab some drinks and maybe some hot food for all of us. I am sure the snacks are not going to last much longer.” Connor put the gas handle into the gas tank and then handed Sarah his card. “Hopefully they have food here for all of us.” Connor said then began pumping the gas.

Sarah walked into the gas station with Margaret searching for food. Zag and the guards walked in behind them. The guards headed for the bathroom while Zag looked around for some food. He was waiting for Taylor to emerge from the bathroom. Sarah mind linked Taylor and asked if she could come over to the hot food when she was finished. “Mom, I need female items quickly please.” Taylor said to her mom through mind link. “Oh, tell me what kind and I’ll buy them real quick and bring them to you.” Sarah said walking over to the feminine isle. “Tampons mom, and super. Might want to get some thin pads as well. This is just what I wanted right now. Ugh, so unfair.” Taylor said and Sarah started giggling. “I’ll be there in a moment after I pay for them.” Sarah said and cut the mind link off. She took the items up to the register and waited for the cashier to ring them up. “Is this all you are getting?” The young woman asked Sarah. “We will be getting food, but my daughter is in need of these right now.” Sarah explained. The young woman nodded in understanding and rang the items up for her. “There you go ma’am. The bathrooms are right back there.” The woman said. “Thank you so much.” Sarah said and headed to the bathrooms.

Margaret began ordering some hot food for everyone as Scott walked up next to her. “You are one mean driver Margaret.” Scott said teasingly to her. Margaret raised her eyebrow at him and said, “I can’t help that I’m a better driver than you.” Scott stared at Margaret for a moment then heard the other guards snickering in a different isle. “What are you guys laughing at? I’m still a better driver than the three of you combined.” Scott said as he looked over at them. They closed their mouths and walked away. Margaret looked at Scott and then the guards and simply said, “and I’m a better driver than the 4 of you combined.” Margaret turned to the food and began ordering again. Scott stood next to Margaret and smirked. The young woman continued to make meal boxes for the orders. “Okay, we have12 meal boxes with an extra double stack cheeseburger in each one. Is there anything else I can get for you from the case?” The young woman asked Margaret. Margaret looked at the pizza puffs and said, “12 of those please, and 3 big buckets of chicken legs please. Also, do you have cups we can buy that will hold our drinks and ice?” The young woman smiled and pointed at the area with the cups. “Thank you,” Margaret said and walked over to the area with the cups. Scott walked behind her and helped her pick out a couple of cups before Sarah and Taylor walked out of the bathroom.

Margaret smiled and said, “let’s pick cups out for everyone then put ice in them for our drinks. I figure the biggest ones will be good.” Taylor smiled and immediately saw a big cup that was black and purple with skulls on it. “This one is mine.” Taylor said making Margaret and Sarah laugh. They took the 12 cups up to the register and waited for the guards to bring 2-liters of drinks as well. “We have plenty of water, so a nice soda drink will be a nice treat for us all.” Sarah said as she also asked for a large bag of ice to be placed on the order. Once everything was paid for including the gas, they carried all of the stuff out to the vehicles and got themselves set up with ice and drinks and food ready to be eaten. Connor looked around and said, “we need to get moving again. We are still an hour away from the jet. I don’t trust that Dr. Trey isn’t following us.” Everyone agreed and got themselves situated in the vehicles to drive. Zag go into the SUV with Taylor. Margaret reached into the the back and got a bowl of food for Chloe and a little bit of water as well. Chloe woke up from her slumber and began eating.
