The Acceptance

Once everyone finished cheering about the news of the baby they all got set up for dinner. Taylor’s stomach and been growling for a couple of hours. *Attention, we will be serving dinner in just a moment. If all passengers would put away anything on the tables and have them cleared for us to serve your dinner. Thank you.* Once the captain finished his announcement the flight attendants began wheeling out the food carts. A flight attendant stopped in Taylor’s section and asked, “what would you like to have? We have grilled chicken, steak, or spaghetti.” Taylor licked her lips and asked, “may I have the grilled chicken and the spaghetti? Also, do you have garlic bread as well?” Margaret licked her lips as well. “That sounds so good Taylor. I think I’ll have the same.” Margaret said as she finished clearing off her part of the table. The flight attendant smiled and said, “of course we have all the fixings. Please, let me know what you wish to drink as well while I get the plates out for you.” Zag asked, “what do you have to drink?” “Oh, we have wine, water, and soda.” The flight attendant answered Zag. “I’d like two steaks and wine please,” Zag said to the flight attendant. “I’d like wine and water please as well,” Taylor said to her.

Margaret and Scott both received their meals and drink as well. “Thank you very much.” Taylor said as she looked at her food. The flight attendant smiled and said, “it is not trouble at all. Oh, would your cat like something to eat as well? We do have tuna and some smoked salmon as well.” Taylor went to answer but Chloe meowed twice and the flight attendant smiled. “One smoked salmon coming right up Chloe.” The flight attendant said as she reached in and pulled out a plate with a big smoke salmon. She sat it down on the table next to Taylor. She then bowed her head and continued to ask the next section. Taylor, Margaret, Zag, and Scott all chuckled as Chloe sat on the arm of the seat and began eating her big smoke salmon. “I think she’s just as hungry as we are.” Taylor said then began eating her food as well. Everyone joined in on beginning to eat their food. Taylor was so happy to hear everyone laughing and joking as they all enjoyed their dinner.

Zag finished his plate first. He had a couple more glasses of wine and one glass of water. “That was delicious.” Zag said as he sat back in his seat. Taylor finished her food the same time Margaret and Chloe finished theirs. Chloe was a little pudgy on the sides when she finished. Taylor laughed and sat back as well. “This was very delicious. The wine is pretty good as well.” Taylor said complimenting the food and wine. Soon, everyone else was finished eating their dinner. Everyone had cleaned their plates. The attendants came out once more to gather the plates and offer dessert. “We have chocolate cake, a chocolate mousse, donuts, cheesecake, and ice cream. What can I get for you?” Taylor looked at Margaret and Zag laughed. “You should probably just give us all one of each.” Zag said still laughing. Margaret and Taylor gave him sheepish grins. The flight attendant laughed and started grabbing one of everything for each person. “Chloe, we have milk and a kitty cookie. Would you like those?” The flight attendant asked Chloe. Chloe gave a long meow while rubbing up against Taylor Taylor rolled her eyes and said, “you are spoiled rotten.” Chloe gently put her front paws on Taylor’s shoulder and rubbed her nose against Taylor’s face. Taylor laughed and said, “I love you too. I guess that means she wants both milk and a kitty cookie.”

They all sat around and enjoyed their desserts as they were offered milk, coffee, or hot chocolate. “Oh, coffee for me please.” They all said to the flight attendant. They ate their desserts a little slower than their dinner. “The food is so delicious. The coffee is so good too.” Taylor said as she took a sip of her coffee. Zag nodded in agreement. Chloe took her time drinking her milk and eating her kitty cookie as well. Taylor looked at Chloe and said, “I don’t now how you still have room for more food. Chloe closed her eyes and gave her another cackling meow. Taylor rolled her eyes and gave Chloe a gentle pat on her head. “She will sleep good tonight.” Zag said with a chuckle. “Oh I know she will. She doesn’t usually eat this much, but neither do I. It’s nice to do this now and then.” Taylor said as she smiled. Margaret sat back in her seat as she took the last bite of her dessert. “I am so full. I am ready to go lay down soon.” Margaret said as she closed her eyes for a moment. Scott looked over at Margaret and she peeked with one eye at him. Taylor smirked and pretended she saw nothing.

Taylor sat back in her seat and yawned. “I am ready to bed myself. My stomach is so full.” Taylor said as she looked over and saw Chloe had finished her food and was laying in her bag that extended out. After the flight attendants gathered all of the dirty dishes and silverware Taylor and Margaret decided it was bed time. Zag asked the flight attendant how long the flight was before he went back to lay down. “Our destination will be reached in 18 more hours. Please go rest, there is nothing to worry about.” The flight attendant answered Zag. “Thank you miss.” Zag said and then went to the bunks. He opened the door to the bunk to see it was actually very spacious. Taylor laid her head on the pillow and looked at Zag. She smiled watching him climb into the bed with her. “These are actually a lot more private than I thought they would be.” Taylor said to Zag. Zag smiled and slid under the covers next to her. He laid on his back and Taylor laid her head on his chest. He soon heard her breathing steady and closed his eyes as well.

Margaret looked at Scott and asked, “will you stay with me tonight?” Scott looked at Margaret and nodded. “How can I possibly say no to your request?” Scott said as he slid into the bunk with Margaret and closed the door. Margaret laid on her back and looked up at Scott. “I, Margaret Stacey, accept you, Scott Lime as my mate.” Margaret said catching Scott off guard for a second. He smiled at her and said, “I, Scott Lime, accept you, Margaret Stacey as my mate.” Margaret smiled and was surprised when Scott leaned in and kissed her. Her senses exploded with a simple kiss from her mate. She wrapped her arms around him and embraced his touch. Slowly he ended the kiss and smiled at her. “You are so beautiful and have made the happiest man ever.” Scott said to Margaret. Margaret felt like her heart was going to burst out of her chest, that or her hormones were taking over. She pulled him down for another kiss. Scott happily gave her another kiss. He had been patiently waiting for her to accept him. He knew why and was completely fine waiting on her. When they ended the kiss he looked down at his mate and smiled. “My beautiful mate, I wish for us to wait until we land. I want this to be special for us both and well, to have more room.” Scott said to Margaret making her blush. “I’m okay with that. Let’s get comfortable and sleep.” Margaret said as she snuggled in next to him.

Zag laid with Taylor on his chest. They were both fast asleep. He was so completely happy that he had her in his arms finally. Zag went to his office and smiled when he saw Icy, Emberto, and Fang sleeping around the couch waiting for Taylor to appear. Zag was a little puzzled as to why she wasn’t here already. “Her dreams must have rotated again.” Zag said to himself. He sat down and looked a couple of things up on his laptop and smiled. He found what he was looking for and knew where he needed to go. He sat back in is chair and began planning things out. Zag put his head back and sat straight up when he felt Taylor move in his arms. Zag began waking himself up to see what was going on with Taylor. He opened his eyes and knew Taylor was having a nightmare. He began running his fingers through her hair to help soothe her. She finally opened her eyes and looked at Zag. She started crying causing Zag to become worried. “What was the dream about?” Zag asked, worried about what she would say. “He found me and took me away again. I don’t know how he found me, but he did. He killed everyone here too. I can’t ever go back Zag.” Taylor said with a whimper as she tried all she could to be as close as possible to Zag.

Zag held her tight and then kissed her soft lips. Taylor wrapped her arms around him, becoming consumed by his kiss and touch. She ran her fingers on his back and around to his chest. Zag could feel how much she wanted him. He wanted her too, but he wanted it to be the right setting. Zag slowly pulled way from the kiss and smiled. “Taylor, we must wait at least until we have a more private setting. Perhaps a little more room as well.” Zag said as he gently kissed her nose. Taylor looked around and giggled softly. “I suppose you are right. Let’s get back to sleep then, I’ll dream of your office this time. Maybe you can show me where we will live.” Taylor said with a yawn. Zag smiled and kissed her forehead as they both fell back into a much more peaceful sleep.
