Tropical Paradise

Everyone sat in their seats and put their seat belts on for the landing. Taylor gently held Zag’s hand. She was very nervous about landing. Zag gently squeezed her hand giving her reassurance that everything was going to be okay. Taylor took a deep breath and slowly released it as she felt her ears feel full. Soon there was a little bump signaling that the jet had landed. *Attention passengers, we have successfully landed and coming to a complete stop. You should be able to exit momentarily.* Taylor smiled at the captain’s words and began to relax as they finally came to a complete stop. The flight attendants stood up and made sure that everything was ready before allowing everyone to exit the jet. She smiled as the stairs were wheeled up to the door. While she opened the door, the other flight attendant smiled and said, “okay everyone, it is safe to exit. Please watch your step and have a good stay.” Everyone stood up and began collecting their bags. Taylor was glad that Chloe went into her carrying bag without a fuss. She put Chloe on her back and grabbed another bag as well. Zag grabbed the rest of her bags and they walked off the jet and down the stairs. Taylor saw nothing but a tropical paradise. Sarah and Collin waited at the bottom of the stairs for everyone come down. “Go ahead and put your bags in the vehicles and get in. We will be leaving once everyone is in the vehicles. We have a private area we will be staying at.” Collin instructed Taylor and Zag. Taylor was so excited to be in such a warm and sunny place. Zag and Taylor sat in the vehicle and waited as everyone exited the jet and got into the vehicles. The guards helped Mr. and Mrs. Patter into the vehicle and then placed their luggage into the back, along with their own luggage. Scott told two of the guards to drive the vehicle with Mr. and Mrs. Patter in, while he would be driving their alpha and luna. Patty opened the door and slid in next to Mrs. Patter. “Mind if I tag along with you guys?” Patty asked with a smile. Mrs. Patter smiled and said, “of course not dear. It’s not like we would get any privacy right now anyway.” One of the guards spat his water out shocked by Mrs. Patter’s words. The other guard began laughing hysterically. Patty could’t help laughing herself. “Oh this is going to be a fun ride. You guards are in for a treat.” Patty said with a laugh. Taylor leaned her head against Zag’s shoulder and looked out the window as the vehicles began driving finally. “We are going to try to lay low for at least a few days. Your mom and I have a home here off on a little more private area. We will be sending the guards out to get basic essentials. We do have staff at the house as well. We will go out and shop for clothes as needed.” Collin said letting everyone know the plan. Margaret sighed and asked, “will we be able to swim though?” Taylor looked over at Margaret and smirked. Sarah already knew they would ask and she told them, “yes, we will go and get swimsuits and whatever else we will need. Let’s get settled in to the house first and then we can go into town and buy what we need. We will have to keep an extra eye out for doctor psycho.” Taylor and Margaret looked at Sarah shocked by her words, then began laughing so hard. “Oh man mom, that is the perfect name for him. What a little twerp.” Taylor said laughing. Zag smiled and said, “don’t worry, his time is coming, and I plan to have oh so much fun with him.” Collin smirked and asked, “can I help?” Zag smiled back and said, “oh I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Sarah, Taylor, and Margaret looked at one another and then to Collin and Zag. “So, are you male bonding over the torture you want to inflict on doctor psycho?” Sarah asked Collin and Zag. They both nodded and said, “yes!” They drove through the streets and Taylor couldn’t help but stare at all of the colorfulness from the buildings to the streets, to the clothes that people wore. “Where exactly are we dad?” Taylor asked as she continued to look out the window. Collin looked at Sarah and Sarah nodded to him. “We are in Maldives.” Collin answered his daughter. Taylor’s smile slowly grew bigger as she knew how beautiful Maldives is and they do not have extradition. “I can not wait to swim in these crystal clear waters then. This is going to be so much fun. Daddy, can we go hike on some trails too?” Taylor asked becoming more excited as she asked. Sarah began laughing and Collin laughed as well. “I am sure as long as you are not seen. We will need to go for runs to let our wolves stretch as well.” Sarah said to Taylor. Taylor nodded in understanding. “This is going to be so much fun. This is the first time I have ever been out of the country.” Taylor said and Sarah frowned. “I know dear, and I am sorry we never went anywhere before now.” Collin said as he reached over and gently squeezed Taylor’s hand. “It’s okay dad. I honestly am just so excited to be here. I know there are many people my age who have never been outside of their own state, let alone country.” Taylor explained, easing her parents minds. They spent the entire ride talking and joking around. Soon the vehicles turned into a dirt road. “We are almost there.” Collin informed everyone. “Oh, I can’t wait. This is going to be so much fun.” Taylor said as she put Chloe’s bag on her lap. Chloe cackled at Taylor letting her know she was ready to be let out. “We are almost there, Chloe. Once we get inside I will let you out.” Taylor said to Chloe hoping it would help Chloe relax just a few minutes longer. The trees began to thin and stop as they saw beautiful bungalows and a main house. The grass was so green and looked soft. Blue pushed forward enough to see and she smiled. “I want to roll around in that grass. It looks so inviting.” Blue said to Taylor. Taylor agreed with Blue. She wanted to feel the grass between her toes and fingers. Sarah and Collin got out of the vehicle once it was put into park. Taylor figured that her parents wouldn’t let her and Zag stay together in one of the bungalows. She picked Chloe’s bag up and gently put it on her shoulder. Collin looked at Sarah and they both smiled as Collin began grabbing Taylor’s bags. Taylor was so distracted by accepting she wasn’t allowed to stay with Zag, she almost ran into her dad. Collin smiled as he stopped and asked, “Taylor, which one do you want?” Taylor looked up and saw they were standing by the bungalows. Taylor chose the one by the water. “I thought you wouldn’t let me stay with Zag.” Taylor admitted to her dad. Collin had a straight face as he looked out to sea. “Let’s get your bags put in here and then we will talk.” Collin said as they walked to the last bungalow to put bags inside. Taylor set Chloe down on the porch and opened the bag, allowing her to finally stretch her legs. Collin walked back outside and looked at Taylor. “Come walk with me Taylor.” Collin said as he helped Taylor stand back up. They walked off the porch and to the end of the dock. Collin sat down and let his feet and legs dangle over the side. Taylor of course followed suit. “I know I wasn’t always there for majority of, well, everything. I will not keep you from your mate Taylor. I can tell you both care for one another and we simply just do not interfere with mates, unless there is specific circumstances that calls for the need to. I want you to be happy. While, as a father, I have trouble accepting that you are old enough for your mate. I also know you are an adult and capable of making your own decisions. If he hurts you, trust me, I will end him.” Collin said to Taylor. Taylor wrapped her arms around Collin and smiled. “Thank you daddy.” Taylor said as they both sat and looked out at the sea. Sarah walked over to Taylor and Collin and smiled. “Hey, let’s get everything put away so that we can go shopping. I am dying to see what we find.” Sarah said making Taylor and Collin turn to look at her. Taylor jumped up and ran into her bungalow. Collin and Sarah laughed as they heard her quickly unzip her bags. “She’s just like her mom.” Collin said as he wrapped his arm around Sarah. Taylor was so blinded by getting everything put away to shop, that she did not take the time to really look at the bungalow. When Taylor walked into the room she saw Zag already putting some of her things on hangers for her. Taylor smiled and walked over to Zag. “Thank you. I was just racing in here to do that.” Taylor said to Zag. Zag smirked and said, “well, I know you want to hurry up to go shopping. I figured I’d help.” Taylor smiled and thought, “wow, he is so amazing. How did I get so lucky to have him as my mate?” Blue perked her head up and said, “we got very lucky to have him as our mate. However, do not cower away when we see his true form. It might seem scary at first, but he is still our Zag.” Taylor understood what Blue was saying. She began putting her undergarments into the drawers and then began working on putting her bathroom items into the bathroom. It took them 25 minutes to put everything away.
