There was a knock on the door and Patty walked in. She saw that Taylor was laying on the bed. Patty walked over and took Taylor’s shoes off. “I want to go home Patty. I don’t know what he has planned when I turned 18, but I’d rather not find out. Can you help me get out of here?” Taylor said to Patty. Patty frowned and whispered, “we are working on it. Your parents and Margaret said they love you and working on trying to get you out.” Patty made sure that only Taylor could hear her. Taylor smiled softly and said, “thank you Patty. I am going to make myself something to eat. I haven’t had dinner yet. Would you like anything?” Patty smiled and said, “no, but I can make you something if you like.” Taylor smiled and nodded her head. Patty got to work and made two coney dogs and coney sauce. Patty then got some shredded cheese out and put it on top of the coney dogs. She sat the plate on the table and Taylor got up and sat down. “Thank you Patty. These look so good.” Taylor said as she began eating the food. “I will be back to check on you. Make sure you get a shower after you clean dinner up.” Patty said and then left her room.
Taylor frowned at the loneliness she felt after Patty left. Patty and Mrs. Patter were the only friends she had there. Taylor quickly washed the plate and kettles, then went and got herself a shower. All Taylor could think about was her mom, dad, and Margaret. Taylor sat on her bed and noticed there was a laptop on the bed. It had a note attached to it that read;
Dear Taylor,
This laptop is to help you finish your schooling and graduate early. Do not attempt to contact anyone on this device. Everything is blocked except what you need for school. It will be monitored as well. I would advise you use it wisely. Also, I would not suggest you flipping me the bird anymore. There are cameras in your room.
Sincerely,
Dr. Trey
Taylor rolled her eyes. She opened the laptop and it was linked to her school. Taylor closed it and set it on the shelf attached to her bed. She began to lay down when Patty came back in. Patty smiled and took Taylor’s vitals to make sure she was healthy. “Dr. Trey is going to be putting you on medication when you turn 18 years old. He claims it will stop your night terrors. However, I think that is a lie. I can’t prove it, but we will find out in a few weeks. He is also planning on trying hypnosis as well.” Patty said and then stood up. “I need a urine sample and I have to watch so that you don’t give me water.” Patty instructed Taylor and gave her a look of it’s okay. Taylor stood up and they went into the bathroom. Patty shut the door and said loudly, “I am going to turn the sink water on so that it will help you go.” She then turned the sink on and pulled out a cup. She then reached into her pocket and grabbed a phone. Taylor’s eyes widened as she watched Patty pull the phone out of her pocket. Patty put her finger up to her mouth and handed her the phone. “This is to communicate with your parents and Margaret. Keep this hidden.” Patty said to Taylor. “Where do I hide it at?” Taylor asked in a whisper. Patty pulled out velcro and stuck one side on the phone then she went to the bathroom sink and opened the doors. She stuck in on the inside of the cabinet back behind the sink bowl.
Patty stood up and then said, “keep it off and only use it when you take a shower. Do not let anyone find this.” Taylor nodded and then grabbed the cup. Patty turned her back and allowed Taylor to fill the cup in privacy. Taylor finished and washed her hands. “Thank you Patty.” Patty smiled at Taylor and said, “you’re welcome. Just we have to be careful.” Taylor nodded and Patty opened the door and they both walked out with Patty holding the cup. “You may sleep now. I will be back later to check on you.” Patty said and then left Taylor’s room. Taylor surprisingly fell back to sleep. She was extremely tired even though she didn’t do anything all day. She could barely talk to her wolf. Taylor opened her eyes and saw Janet and the underground prison. Taylor sighed and decided to go looking around to see what else she could find inside the prison. Taylor walked down a hallway with Janet right behind her. “Why are you going this way? We aren’t allowed to go this way. They will get very angry with us.” Janet said, trying to convince Taylor to turn around. Taylor looked at Janet and said, “I am going where I please. I need to look at everything I can. Also, who is going to be very angry with us?”
Janet closed her mouth and continued to walk with Taylor. The hallway was very long and dark. Taylor was glad that she could see thanks to her werewolf vision. Taylor looked in front of her and saw a door at the end of the hallway. Janet seemed afraid of the door. “Please Taylor, we have to turn back.” Janet pleaded to Taylor. Taylor frowned and looked at Janet. “You may turn around, I am going to see what is behind that door.” Taylor said to Janet and she continued to walk towards the door. Taylor noticed as she reached the door that Janet was not there by her side. Taylor turned back and saw Janet hugging the wall. Taylor shook her head and thought, “wow she is a killer and she’s afraid of what is behind this door.” Taylor turned back to the door and turned the door knob. She began opening the door slowly. Suddenly the door slammed shut and she was being pulled out of her dream back to the real world. Taylor sat up quickly and was breathing heavily. She looked up to see Mrs. Patter standing at the side of her bed.
“Why did you wake me? I was about to see what was behind that door.” Taylor asked Mrs. Patter with irritation in her voice. “I want to figure this out so that I can give Dr. Trey what he wants and I can go home.” Taylor said with sadness. Mrs. Patter gave Taylor a glass of cold water. “I’m sorry Taylor. Please, drink some water. I need you to understand something, he won’t ever let you go. He will find some other reason to keep you here. You can not give him the location of that place. It is not a place he needs a location for. I have no doubt he wants the location for nothing good darling.” Mrs. Patter said to Taylor. “I had a feeling that would be the case. He seems like a power hungry little man. I need to get out of here Mrs. Patter. He gives me the creeps too. I don’t like the way he looks at me. I really want to see my parents and my best friend. Why can’t I see them?” Taylor said and began to cry. Mrs. Patter sat down next to Taylor and pulled her into a hug. Mrs. Patter was like a grandmother figure to Taylor. “We will figure it out. Please, just have patience. These things will take some time it can be perfected and it be flawless with no mistakes.” Mrs. Patter said to Taylor trying to reassure her that they were all trying to plan for her rescue.
Taylor nodded and finally pulled away from Mrs. Patter. “Thank you, I am going to go shower and get ready for the day.” Taylor said as she waited for Mrs. Patter to move off of the bed. “You get ready and I will get your breakfast cooked.” Mrs. Patter said to Taylor with a smile as she walked over to the stove. Taylor got up and headed to shower. Taylor was bothered by being woke up, but then, she realized something. Taylor smiled and finished in the shower then got out. Mrs. Patter cooked scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee. Taylor walked out of the bathroom and smiled as she saw her plate. “Thank you for the breakfast. I have a plan as far as my dreams are concerned. I need to see what is behind that door. I have a strong feeling whatever is behind that door, it will help me.” Taylor explained to Mrs. Patter. Mrs. Patter was a little concerned, but understood what Taylor was saying. “Just please, be careful doing this.” Mrs. Patter said with concern in her voice. “I need you to tell him I am sick and in bed. I do not want to meet with him. I need time to do this. I am going to need some sleeping pills as well.” Taylor said to Mrs. Patter. Mrs. Patter nodded and said, “why don’t you lay down and I will get Patty to come check on you and get you some medicine.” Taylor nodded and left a little bit of food on her plate.
Mrs. Patter left the room after Taylor laid down and then paged Patty. Patty walked up to Mrs. Patter’s desk and asked what was going on. “Taylor needs medicine to sleep. She is sick and is in bed.” Mrs. Patter said to Patty. Patty didn’t question what Mrs. Patter told her. Patty turned and went to get some sleeping medicine then went to Taylor’s room. She knocked and walked into the room. She saw that Taylor didn’t finish her food and that she was laying down in bed. Patty grabbed a glass of water and walked over to Taylor. “Taylor, before I give you these, are you sure about this?” Patty asked Taylor. “Yes, I need to know what is behind that door. I need to explore to see if I can find anything to help.” Taylor said quietly. They both make sure to whisper so that the cameras can not pick up what they are saying. Patty placed her hand on Taylor’s forehead and then got the thermometer and placed it in Taylor’s mouth. She pulled it away and it showed that her temperature was 102 degrees. It was a fairly normal temperature for a werewolf, but a little on the high end of the normal part. Patty handed Taylor the sleeping medicine and water. “I’ll let Dr. Trey know you are sick. I will be back to check on you. Please, be careful of what you are poking around for.” Patty said and then got up and cleared Taylor’s plate and washed it. Patty then left Taylor’s room and headed to Dr. Trey’s office.
