More Dirty Laundry

Collin hung the phone up after his talk with his lawyer. He looked at Sarah and said, “he is going to meet with us later when we have the meeting after Patty’s shift. He has some new information to give us.” Sarah nodded and then finished getting dressed. “We need some coffee and breakfast. I am famished and desperately needing real coffee and not the hotel’s coffee.” Sarah said and Collin smiled at his mate. “We can definitely go get that. Let me finish getting dressed and we can go get some.” Collin said and grabbed his clothes to change. Sarah walked into the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. She sighed as she saw the bags under her eyes. She sighed because for a werewolf, she looked way older than she really was. Sarah knew it was stress from trying to get her daughter back. Sarah put her makeup on and brushed her long hair. “Are you ready to go get food and coffee?” Collin asked smiling at his beautiful mate. Sarah smiled and nodded.

Taylor walked with Zag seeing all of the rooms and holding cells. “I want to see you while you are awake.” Zag blurted out as they walked down a long hallway. Taylor blushed a little and said, “that would be amazing.” Zag puffed his chest out with how Taylor reacted. “When we get Dr. Trey here and locked up forever, we will be able to see each other then. I think it might take some time to get our plan set with no flaws in it. I need for you to have patience with all of this. I would like to take you for a picnic next time we see each other. We need to have time to unwind as well.” Zag said to Taylor. Taylor smirked and asked, “you mean like a date?” It was Zag’s turn to blush. “I suppose so, that is if you would like to.” Zag said to Taylor. “I think that would be nice. I should be getting back so I can get up and start the day. I’m sure Dr. Trey will want to talk to me today.” Taylor said to Zag, not really wanting to leave him. “I will look forward to seeing you when you sleep again.” Zag said with a smile to Taylor.

Taylor woke up and immediately missed Zag. Taylor looked as she heard Chloe softly meow. Taylor smiled and scooped Chloe up and loved on her. “You are such a pretty kitty Chloe. Are you hungry?” Taylor asked Chloe. They heard someone unlocking the door and Chloe ran and hid. Taylor stood up and made her bed while waiting for the person to enter her room. Patty walked in, carrying stuff for Chloe. Patty turned to Taylor after she shut the door. “Good morning Taylor and Chloe. I got stuff for Chloe and I also found this for you.” Patty said as she showed her a box of danishes. Taylor licked her lips and said, “thank you so much.” Taylor took the things for Chloe and set the bowls on the table then put the litter pan under the toilet lid. Patty washed the bowls up and then put water in one and scooped out cat food in the other. Chloe ran over and began eating her food immediately. Taylor and Patty both giggled at how quick Chloe ran to her bowls.

“Thank you Patty for getting this stuff. How are my parents and Margaret?” Taylor asked Patty. Patty looked at Taylor and said, “they are worried about you. They are a bit stressed worrying about you and trying to figure out how to get you out of here. They asked me to give you this.” Patty then handed her a little box. Taylor gently took the box and opened it. There was a beautiful necklace that had a wolf pendant on it. The pendant had an opal that was the full moon the wolf was howling at. Taylor began crying and said, “this is so beautiful. It looks just like my mom’s necklace.” Patty smiled and said, “it is your mom’s necklace. She wanted you to have it. Your mom said it will help keep you safe.” Taylor smiled and put the necklace on. “Thank you Patty. I better get ready then have one of those yummy danishes.” Taylor said earning a laugh from Patty. “I will check on you later. Dr. Trey has you down as having a session with him in his office in 3 hours.” Patty said to Taylor. Taylor nodded and got into the shower.

Patty walked up to Mrs. Patter and said, “tonight we will have dinner together. I will not take no for an answer.” Mrs. Patter smiled and said, “I’d love to Patty. Thank you. I don’t want anymore leftovers.” Patty smiled and said, “you need a good cooked meal. You can follow me after work. I already know where we are going.” Mrs. Patter smiled and nodded. They heard someone whistle and Patty rolled her eyes. She then felt like throwing up as she felt someone put their arm around her shoulders. “You are looking fine as wine Patty. Where are we going tonight?” “We are going no where Mr. Robert. Mrs. Patter and I have plans. You are not invited. Please take your arm off of me and leave me alone. I have told you many times I am not interested in you. You touch me again, I will forget we are at work and lay you flat. Now leave me alone you creep.” Patty said very angry that Mr. Robert could not get it through his head she wanted nothing to do with him. Mr. Robert gave a nasty look to Patty, but took his hand and arm off of her. “You don’t have to be such a snobby b*tch Patty.” Mr. Robert said then walked away. Patty rolled her eyes and Mrs. Patter said, “you need to keep an eye out for him. He gives me bad vibes.” Patty nodded and said, “I got to get my rounds done. I’ll see you in a bit.” Patty then walked away and began her rounds.

Patty took the time to send Sarah a text letting her know they need to meet for dinner at the Italian restaurant down from the hotel they were staying at. Mrs. Patter went and checked on Taylor to make sure she was getting ready to head to Dr. Trey’s office. Mrs. Patter knocked on the door and Taylor opened the door. “Good morning Taylor. I am just checking in to see if you are almost ready to head to your appointment with Dr. Trey.” Mrs. Patter said with a half smile. “I am never ready to speak to that creep, but yeah I am about to head to his office.” Taylor said to Mrs. Patter. “I understand, make sure you are not late getting there.” Mrs. Patter said and then headed back to her desk. Taylor shut her door and walked to the elevator. “Oh, look, fresh meat.” Taylor shuttered at the words and tried to ignore whoever was speaking. “Hey, I’m talking to you.” Taylor was forced to turn around and face a hideous man with broken teeth and a greasy look to him. “I have to get to Dr. Trey’s office. He doesn’t want me to be late.” Taylor said trying to keep calm. “You are a pretty little thing aren’t you.” Mr. Robert said as he smelled her hair. Taylor had to keep herself from throwing up. The elevator gave a ding as the doors opened. Taylor hit Mr. Robert’s hand away and quickly got onto the elevator. She kept pressing the close doors button.

Mrs. Patter said, “you will leave that girl alone. Dr. Trey does not like tardiness, and if you cause her to be tardy you will have to answer to him. You know how he will punish you. It would be in your best interest to leave that girl alone.” Mr. Robert frowned and then started becoming angry. He stormed over to Mrs. Patter and pointed his finger in her face. “You will watch your mouth or you will be joining your husband in that tiny little room. Then, once you are a patient here, I can do as I please with you and make your husband watch.” Mr. Robert said to Mrs. Patter. “Mr. Robert, come to my office now.” Dr. Trey said loudly over the intercom. Mrs. Patter sighed in relief as he pulled himself away from her and went to the elevator. That was one of the very few times that she was grateful to Dr. Trey. The phone rang and Mrs. Patter answered the phone. “Mr. Robert will be dealt with. Are you alright?” Mrs. Patter was shocked by Dr. Trey asking. “Yes Dr. Trey, I am alright. I am a little shaky from his treatment, but I am still breathing.” “Very well, you may go visit your husband while I have Taylor here for her session.” Dr. Trey said to Mrs. Patter. “Thank you Dr. Trey.” Mrs. Patter said and then quickly headed to see her husband. It was the first time in a year she was allowed to see him.

Later after Patty and Mrs. Patter’s shifts they headed to the Italian restaurant. They walked into the restaurant and joined Taylor’s parents and another man at their table. “Good evening Mr. and Mrs. Lyndal.” Mrs. Patter said politely as she sat down. “I am Mr. and Mrs. Lyndal’s lawyer. I am trying to help get Taylor out. Dr. Trey seemingly has managed to get a few government officials in his back pocket. We need dirty on him. Mrs. Patter, I understand he committed your husband as well?” Mrs. Patter looked at the lawyer and tears threatened to fall. “How, how do you know that, Mr?” Mrs. Patter said and the lawyer smiled and said, “I apologize. You may call me Scott.” Scott said to Mrs. Patter. “I know because I was given that information. We want to take that mad man down and release those who were committed wrongfully. That includes your husband. Is there any information you and Patty can get us?” Scott asked Mrs. Patter and Patty. “It will take time to gather any information for your case. He has the place locked tight like a prison. He knows about your kind.” Mrs. Patter said to Collin and Sarah. They both looked confused at first, but then it dawned on them. “That’s why we can’t mind link our daughter.” Sarah said worry and anger hitting all at once. Mrs. Patter nodded to answer her.
