"When the queen found out about Abril, she became interested in her."
"What? Did you tell her about her?"
"She asked questions, I can't lie, I had to answer all her questions."
"You could have omitted it."
A shadow of concern crossed Maya's face, and she replied.
"It's not as easy as you think. Even when I tried to lie, I ended up blurting out the truth. No matter how much I resist, the words spill out uncontrollably. It's horrible."
"I'm sorry, I didn't..."
"I know you had no way of knowing."
Fay peeked into the tent again, and before he said anything, she said goodbye to Cassian.
"I have work to do. I'll see you later."
