Red’s PoV Rriinnngggggg “ Uhhhhhhh s**t” l turn off my alarm and open my eyes. “ Shiiitttt.... it’s today and I’ve not gotten ready yet “. Thank goodness I chose my outfit for today yesterday, I’m probably the only nerd that’s actually very Fashion forward. I hop into the shower immediately and do my toilette and makeup. My hair is best in a messy bun so I’ll just leave it that way. “Reedddd” I hear my mom screaming my name, I roll my eyes “breakfast is ready” she says and I holler “ be right there “. My outfit is a Silver silk blouse that has a high collar and a sheer sweetheart bust and is actually short sleeved that I paired with slinky pencil skirt that’s navy blue and a pair of smart black pumps. I put on my black pearl earrings and am ready to go as I pickup my purse. I go through my checklist in my head ‘ Daily planner, Pens, pencils and lip balm, all check’ and I waltz downstairs into the kitchen. I greet mom “ Good morning ma”, “good morning sweetheart “ she replies. “ Wow, someone sure looks good enough to eat “ she teases and my face becomes one with my name. My mom is one of the most beautiful and open women there is out there, she has no shame about anything at all. “Mom” I whine and she winks at me. I look at the island and see that she has made all my favourites down to the freshly squeezed orange juice, Belgian waffles with cream and berries, bacon, sausages and Scrambled Eggs and pickled Chillies. “Mom you didn’t have to do all of this” even as I start to wolf down bits of everything I lay eyes on “ Consider it good luck to eat a full breakfast “ Mom replies. As I eat I look at the time and see that it’s almost 8am and I’ve got to take an Uber to the office, the journey will take me about 45mins and I need to be at the office by 9am. “ I’ve gotta run mom, see ya, wish me good luck “ I yell at her and she hollers back at me and says “ you already got it hon, you’re blessed by the Goddess herself, love you baby“, “ I love you too mom” I yell back as I hop into my pre-ordered Uber and settle down for the ride to Vlaskov Inc. as I pray to the goddess for the best.
