Leaving as highlighted in the previous episode was not a thing to consider in the traditional African society. In the 21st century where domestic violence has rampantly skyrocketed, we have seen couples kill each other, we have seen devastating acts that nobody wants to see their sister or daughter or even mother go through. The acts we have seen portray a barbaric character of an uncivilized society.
Leaving being a very sensitive matter, there are instances that allow us to move out of our marital homes. Where violence is served leave. Where threats of murder become a daily routine leave. Where your life is in danger please leave. Being alive to care and provide for your children is better than staying to die and leave your children to suffer.
