Lily:
My name is Lily, Lily Porter I live with my uncle Alec his wife Rose and their 2 kids Thomas and Kate in Cherry Montana.
My parents passed away in a car accident when I was four so now I live with them.
Fun fact about my family is well my uncle married a werewolf. So I live with them and about 1500 people on 3000 acres of Blood Stone Pack land.
One thing about werewolves that are different than humans well they have a mate.
My aunts Rose always says and I quote, “It’s more than just a piece a paper like you humans have Lily. Our souls are bound together by Selene the Moon Goddess herself for our perfect match.”
Whatever that means I mean come on I’m only 16 I’m not looking for Mr Perfect I’m just looking to find a date the homecoming dance here in two weeks.
However, my uncle is human like me and he gets it. He knows I need my freedom and not to be tied down. Though it would be nice to have a perfect person made for me and me for them but I can’t think like that I’m too young and I’m moving to North Dakota here soon for school in about two years.
My friends here in Montana won’t get to experience that though. They will either be warriors or anything pack related unless they do something special like nursing lawyer or doctors and maybe some teachers.
They had to submit an application at 16 for these positions and take all the basic two year classes of college the last two years of high school. This way, as I say “They miss out on all the fun of college and focus on what they can bring to the pack instead of getting wasted.” I however will be getting wasted but I will keep my grades because I can’t come back to community college in town.
I’ve lived here my whole life and I’m thankful for the pack, but I’m glad I’m not a werewolf because I’m ready to spread my wings and fly. I could never do this if I wasn’t human and I’ve never been more thankful to be human.
Alex:
I’m 30 years old and still no mate.
I’m sitting here at the Blood Stone pack house waiting for our Alpha meeting between our six packs. Every two years, we switch our location to another pack and each time I’ll think I’ll find my mate but nothing.
“Just wait she’s still out there we can’t give up hope just yet” says Axel.
He’s my wolf and he’s right but for 12 years I’ve been waiting for her and I’m just ready to finally have my Luna by my side. Running a pack by myself is hard.
As I continue walking down the long corridor to the meeting room I notice two young girls one brunette and one blonde. The blonde one is a wolf and the other not. As I get closer, I notice one is Emily the Betas daughter here at Blood Stone and the other is Lily her best friend.
I remember they day she arrived at four years old. I had just taken over my pack as my father stepped down two months before.
It was my first meeting and the day I met her I was in wolf form coming back from a run so Axel could stretch his legs.
She saw me and yelled “PUPPY!” and how can anyone not go to a child when they say that. Her blue green eyes have always had mine and Axels attention since but we’ve never felt the mate bond. However, too young to tell if she is my mate but I hope she’s not no Alpha wants a human mates. Not because they don’t understand or aren’t worthy but because of the legion.
