The Alphas Human Mate

Chapter 5

Lily:

I haven’t stopped holding my breath for what feels like 10 minutes now.

Did he really just say what I think he just said. There is no way I have a mate.

I mean for crying out loud I’m 20 years old!

I finally, release the breath I’ve been holding and calm down just enough to look into his dark chocolate eyes and I speak the words that first come to my mind.

“Who me?”

I watch him and as he moves closer and grabs me by the waist and pulls me into his muscular chest and leans down to my ear and breaths heavily into my ear and says, “Yes kitten. You.”

I gasp and go into shock. He can’t have me I’m in school I have two years left I can’t lose everything I’ve worked hard for.

I take a deep breath and look straight into his eyes and say “I’m good right now maybe in two years.”

Everyone around me gasps in shock. Heck, even I’m in shock that I just said that and to an Alpha of all people.

However, I’m holding my ground on this. I worked hard to get where I am and I’m not letting some man and an Alpha at that take me from everything I’ve worked hard for.

I wiggle out of his hold enough so that I can turn to leave and he grabs me again.

The nerve of men I swear.

“Where do you think you’re going kitten?” he ask

“Far from you. I’ve worked hard to get where I am and I’m not going to be locked away from the rest of the world again.”

I turn to leave once more and make it two steps when the next thing I know I’m being flung over his shoulder like a child.

“LET ME GO!” I scream

“Stop trying to leave and I will but that’s twice in two minutes and I’ve had enough we are going to talk this out. So stop acting like a child Lily.”

Alex:

I can’t believe I just had to throw my mate over my shoulder so she’d stop walking away.

Wow Lily Porter. My fiery kitten.

Moon Goddess you better have a good reason for this little human to be my mate.

She has gotten even more beautiful since the last time I saw her.

Then, she was just a teenager now she has the body of a woman.

Strong lean body, a nice butt that if I wanted to I could just bite like an apple as she’s flung over my shoulder, nice t**s that are pushed on my back. Brown hair and a smart mouth that Im going to have fun with one day when she gives into the bond. The best thing about her though is her eyes. I could stare at them all day long if she’s let me. I should’ve known all those years ago there was a reason I was so transfixed on those eyes.

I sight and my thoughts are interrupted when she finally speaks.

“Excuse me are you going to set me down anytime soon? We’ve been going like this for 5 minutes. Where are we even going?”

I sigh again and respond, “Lily we stop when I say we stop. You aren’t in charge here now are you?”

No response good.

“She will learn.” Axel tells me

“I know buddy and she’s lucky I’m her mate if she’d said and done what she did back there to another she might have been 6ft under by now.” I reply

“She’s human and even though she’s been raised by wolves she’s been in the human world far too long. We must bring her back war is coming and we will need her with us.”

“Oh yes, I almost forgot.. war and I wonder how and when it will start.”

“Soon. We will need to mark and mate before this happens.” He says before he marches somewhere to the back of my mid.

I continue to walk for about another mile when I realized in about 500ft there will be a cliff with a 200ft drop. She will have no where to run so she will have to talk. But I hope she tries I love a good chase.
