“Are these all of your things?”, Kevin asked, carrying a small bag containing Keith’s belongings. While Keith was busy settling with the bills on the counter, Kevin opened the room and peeked his head outside, asking her the question in a loud tone that everyone on the third floor heard it loud and clear.
Kevin had given every single people on the hallway an awkward smile as they looked at him displeased. Keith gave him the same kind of stare for a second and went back talking to the nurse and finished her business after signing the bottom of the paper.
“I’m staying at the hospital for recovery, not vacation. Why the heck would I bring lots of my things in here, that’s all I got”, she answered in sarcasm as they exited the room with all of the things packed and went inside the elevator,
