Sky Queen

Chapter 1

Eira suddenly woke up when the cold water hit her face. She looked at her side and saw her evil sister with her annoying smirk. She's holding a glass, obviously, the one she used to throw the cold water on her. 

 "What? Gonna stay there forever? Get your ass up and prepare us some breakfast, stupid b***h!" she said before she slammed the door and left. Eira sighed and cleaned her room quickly, then she went straight to the kitchen to prepare their breakfast. She also prepared meals for dinner, so that she will just reheat it when evening comes. 

 Her father is the only member of her family who is kind to her, the rest of them treats her like a slave - their slave. They were only kind to her whenever her father is present. Sadly, he's an OFW in Dubai the reason why he's not around all the time. Even though she's being treated in such a way, she couldn't get angry with them. 

Of course, they are her only family. If she disobeyed them, she'll only get herself in trouble, and her papa will be hurt if he discovered all of these. She doesn't want that to happen. All she can do is cry at night and pray. One time, she had a breakdown and she even thought of ending her own life. 

But she also thought that if she did it, she will just give them another burden on the bills for her burial. That's why she chose to be thankful because she still has a house to live in and food to eat. Also, she's doing good in school. 

She's always the number one student in their class. In her 20 years of existence, she never had a boyfriend. She thought that having one will just be a hindrance to her studies. As the quote says, "books before boys", boys can wait. 

She wants to be successful first, before getting into a relationship. After cooking, she went back into her room to take a bath and prepare for school. She's a graduating college student in the course Chemical Engineering, and running for Summa c*m Laude in Mariani Integrated Colleges, one of the prestigious schools in the Philippines. 

 It will take 2 hours for Eira to arrive at her school because she's taking public transportation. She doesn't need to pay anything from her school, because she's one of the lucky students who are granted a scholarship by the school itself. 

 The moment she stepped outside their house, she sensed that someone's watching her. She roamed her eyes, but she didn't see anyone in the street. Maybe it's just my imagination. She shrugged and continued to walk her way to the bus stop. She put on her earphones when she got on the bus, and read her favorite book. 

She didn't even notice that there was a man sitting beside her, because she was focused on reading her book. Just when she was about to enter their school gate, she got goosebumps. She really felt like someone's watching her nearby. 

She looked at her surroundings, but no one's looking at her, everyone's busy minding their own business. It's really creeping her out, so she walked faster and went straight to her class. When she entered the classroom, her noisy classmates welcomed her. She's irritated with their noises, but she just kept it to herself and just raised the volume of her phone. 

 She just looked at the window, where she could see the field and trees. It's a great view, and she preferred to look at it, instead of looking at her classmates while they were making a mess. When she looked at the tree, she noticed a man standing beside it. 

Her eyes widened because she saw the man looking at her intensely. Good grief! His eyes were bloody red! She immediately looked the other way as she calmed herself. When she looked at the tree again, the man was already gone. She shrugged it off and didn't mind it, even though it scares her a lot. 

 On the other hand, the man was still staring at her intensely while she's listening to their discussion. He secretly followed this girl just to confirm if his hunch was right - that this girl is the one he's looking for, for so long. 

 At last, I finally found you, my lady. The man smirked at his thought and started to walk away. Before finally leaving, he glanced at the woman once again. 

 "Seb, any news about her?" Storm greeted him with a question. The woman has long red hair and her eyes were also red. 

 Seb removed his hat "I found her" then smirked. 

 With that news, Storm's eyes got bigger and left her mouth open as soon as she heard the news. He only smiled at her and went straight to the kitchen to get something to drink. He was about to drink when someone hugged his thighs and saw little Thunder who was looking at him while pouting. 

 "Is it really true that you found mama?" she cutely asked. He smiled at her and carried the little girl. Even though she's in a form of a kid, it is noticeable that Thunder is a beautiful girl. 

Just looking at her long hair that has the same color as her eyes, emerald green, you will be mesmerized by her beauty. Her thunder shaped birthmark makes her face even cuter at the same time beautiful. 

 "Yes, yes. I finally found her. You haven't changed, have you? You're always calling her mama when you two were about the same age." He just laughed and I let go of her. When her legs touched the floor, her little body slowly changed into the body of a maiden. 

 "Don't mind my trip, Sebby." Thunder said smirking. Seb just shook his head, because of her naughtiness and continued to pour the red liquid into the wine glass. When he drank the red liquid, his red eyes became bloodier, in a shade of crimson red, and his pale skin became paler. After he drank, he prepared the food for the girls then placed it at the dining table. 

After that, he called them to eat. You can see the joy on their faces. They seem to learn about the good news he confirmed earlier.
