Chapter 2

As soon as Eira got home, she was loaded with lots of house chores. Even though she feels weird about what happened earlier, she just shrugged it off and focused on doing her chores instead.

She washed the dishes first and cleaned the dirty floor after. She swept and mopped it, just to make sure it's clean and shiny. After that, she went back to the kitchen to reheat their dinner and called her mother and sister to eat.

While eating, Eira couldn't believe that her mom and sister were silent. She's used to hearing them mock her and order her something while they're eating. Is this a miracle? What's going on here? Is this because the house is clean? She thought.

After eating, she cleaned up and washed their used dishes, as always. Then she went straight to her room, take a quick bath before doing her projects and assignments.

When she was about to dress up, she noticed a tattoo on her back through her full-length mirror. The tattoo says "BLOOD MAKES YOU RELATED, LOYALTY MAKES US A FAMILY. – SIRENA FAMIGLIA"

Even though the tattoo wasn't that bold, she could still read it. She still wonders how she got it when she didn't even remember getting one.

Another thing that makes her wonder is that her whole body is exfoliating. No, it's her whole body is peeling like a snake shedding a new skin. She couldn't even remember putting an exfoliating lotion. In fact, she hates applying lotion to her skin, for she feels sticky and uncomfortable whenever she applies lotion.

She's scared of what's going on with her, but she chose to ignore it this time and focused on doing her assignments.

At the same time, her sister Michelle sneaked out of their house and went to a bar where her no-good "friends" are. There, they went wild, making out here and there, drinking like there's no tomorrow, smoking weeds, and cigarettes, etc.

"Babe, are you sure about your plan? You will be damned by your daddy if he ever finds out your plan about her beloved adopted daughter."

Michelle laughed then drank her champagne before answering, "I'm a hundred percent sure babe. I need that b***h to stop pretending to be a saint when in fact she's not. That stupid pretentious b***h! And I know if dad finds out that she's just pretending to be a perfect daughter, he will be very mad and probably will throw that b***h out of our house and our lives as well!"

She thought about it as if it really happened, then she crazily laughed. "That's why you have to make sure that we will not fail. Our graduation is near, so all preparations should be all done." She added.

"Everything is settled, the place and the man we paid for your plan is ready as well." the other man said while smirking.

"HAHAHA I can't wait.", she said, and they all laugh.

Graduation day was a blast. Their father surprised them by going home just to watch his daughters go to the stage, and to personally be there on stage to hand their awards and medals. Who wouldn't be proud if one of your daughters is graduating with flying colors and a Summa c*m Laude? And take note, her daughter's degree of choice is Chemical Engineering.

They celebrated their graduation in a buffet restaurant. Obviously, their father was so proud of them, he treated them to an expensive restaurant. And for Eira's graduation gift, her father gave her a car and a brand-new laptop that she could use for her board exam review and for her future work. 

While Michelle was given a brand-new iPhone, shoes, and dresses which were all branded, for completing her course, Tourism.

Little did their father and Eira know; Michelle and Amelia, their mom, were so jealous of Eira's gift and the attention that their father was giving her.

Damn you Eira! You're always stealing everything that was supposed to be mine! You better get ready for my surprise and let's see if dad could still accept you after what will happen. Michelle said to herself.

Hmmph! I bet that the car she got is cheap, like her! And don't you dare tell Apollo of what we did to you or else you'll suffer more. Amelia thought. 

"I'll look for a part-time job while reviewing for the board exam so that we can have extra income, dad.", Eira said smiling.

"Well, you should be. We spent a fortune on your projects and your needs. It's only fair to give your share.", her mom rudely said.

"Amelia! What are you saying to our daughter?" Apollo said to Amelia and turned to face her "Child, you don't need to have a part-time job while you're studying for your board exam. I'm sure you can't focus on your board exam when you look for a part-time job."

"It's okay dad. And mom was right. You already spent a fortune on me and I will do this to help you even a little. So, can you please allow me?". she said and showed her dad her pleading face.

His father chuckled, "Alright, I'll allow you just promise me you'll still prioritize your board exam, okay?"

"Yes! Of course, dad. Thank you so much!", she happily answered and hugged her dad.

Michelle cleared her throat and interrupted them.

"By the way dad, there's a party celebration in the club later for the graduates, and Eira and I were invited. Can we go there? Especially Eira since she's a Summa c*m Laude and they're expecting her to come.", she stated.

"Is that so? Okay then, you can attend the party. Just be safe there and don't drink too much, okay?"

"Really dad?! Thank you!", she said while smirking.

"Yes, dear. You rarely go to parties, especially Eira." their dad said while laughing.

Eira frowned at what his dad said. "But Dad, I don't like attending parties."

Michelle rolled her eyes at her sister, "Don't be such a KJ, Eira."

"Okay, that's enough. Let's go home.", their mom said.

They all prepared to leave on what their mom said and went home.

When they arrived at their house, Eira went to her room and took a bath. She's a bit tired and wanted to sleep already, but Michelle said that they still have a party to attend.

She's happy today, her dad went home to watch the graduation and all of her hard work didn't go to waste. After taking a bath, she's a bit problematic about what she'll wear, and her skin is so dry.

She applied lotion even though she didn't want to just to rehydrate her skin. She noticed that her skin became whiter in the parts that are already peeled. She also chose an outfit that is decent enough when they go to the bar.

Meanwhile, Michelle was on her phone again and talking to her boyfriend, Jake, about their plan later. 

"Yes, dad already said yes. We'll be there later. Make sure that she won't figure out this plan."

"Good."

"I can't wait too. I love you, bye."

She satisfyingly ended the call and prepared for the party she set up for her sister.

"Be ready dear sister because, after this, you'll be damned." she mumbled then laughed.
