TRAIN THE GIRL CHILD
I was raised by my grandmother because my parents were studying abroad, when I was finally reunited with them...I held on tight!
I always wanted my father's attention and this need for attention led to a "COINCIDENCE" that changed my life!
My father was a lecturer at the University, a mathematical economist who was working on a paper and didn't want any disturbance but the young me needed my father's attention...
So he picked a book off his shelf and gave me to read the 1st chapter that he would ask questions later and I happily ran off to read it, happy I got my father's attention...
The book turned out to be in "ECONOMICS", it was boring and I didn't enjoy it but I still read it and promised myself NEVER to read "ECONOMICS"
-COINCIDENCE 1-
A few years later at the age of 18, I had already passed my exam to University of California being my main choice...
I wanted University of California I wanted to study "GEOGRAPHY" and my godmother was a lobbying for me to come to University of California but something happened, my mother had just gained admission to Boston to do her Ph.D. and as a young teenager, it was better stay with my mum.
I had to go to "HARVARD" which is in Boston to stay close to her mum.
You can call this "-COINCIDENCE 2-" as to create a pattern.
On getting to Harvard, they did offer me core subject "GEOGRAPHY" and the only subject close to it that could satisfy her curiosity was "ECONOMICS"
So I studied "ECONOMICS", a subject I swore never to read in a school that was never my first choice...
-COINCIDENCE 3-
Forbes called her the "Accidental Economist" but it is not "Accidental" or "Coincidence", it was God pushing me towards my destiny of greatness
