“I have a feeling Kylie, that my 20’s will be the best damn decade of my life.” -Keely James
August 27
Kylie lets out a sigh when she watches Hunter’s urn on display and then grips her handbag tightly.
“Such a shame way to go.” A woman says while standing next to Kylie.
“Do you know exactly how he died? I never got to ask.” Kylie asks the woman while still focusing on the urn.
“Um, he was shot two times, one on the chest and another on the forehead.” The woman tells her while clearing her throat a little bit.
Kylie feels so dumb.
She thought that he would die from poisoning.
“I-I they never told me that.” Kylie tells her with a frown.
“Well, you probably have a lot going on with Keely, so they spared the gory details of what happened to Hunter.” The woman explains to her while folding her arms.
“Yeah, I really hope that Keely makes it home safely, I need her.” Kylie tells the lady while looking at her.
She then puts her hand on Kylie’s left shoulder.
“I’m going to pray for her.” The woman tells Kylie while giving her a smile.
Which Kylie gives her one in return.
Then she walks away, and Kylie is left alone, standing in front of Hunter’s urn.
“Who the heck killed you Hunter?” Kylie asks while letting out a sigh.

“So, not to be like, a downer, but I think Keely ran away.” Nikhi tells Kylie in their French class.
“Oh, and why do you assume that?” Kylie asks her while doing her French homework.
“Because, our cheer coach assumes it.” She says while playing with her black hair.
“Well, she doesn’t know Keely well enough, she always messages me if she would because for eleven years, Keely and I were joined at the hip.” Kylie says while not giving this b***h any attention.
“And she didn’t message you?” Nikhi asks her, now interested.
Kylie then looks at her and rolls her eyes.
“No, she didn’t, if she did, then this case would be solved.” Kylie sighs and then continues on doing her work.
“Hm, okay.” Nikhi just says then goes back to doing goodness knows what.
Later on, that day Kylie lays out some scrapbooking stuff that she got from Michael’s on the ottoman.
She then hears her mother on the phone in her office making Kylie let out a sigh a very little one, but it was still obvious.
“She’s always working.” Kylie sighs.
“Mom! We got to leave in twenty minutes for the search party!” Kylie yells out to make sure that she is heard by her mother.
“I know Kylie! Let me finish this up!” Her mother yells back.
Kylie just smiles and shakes her head and then pulls out the sticker letters for the cover of the scrapbook.

Kylie was walking on top of a log over a creek, getting bored out of her mind.
She is fifteen miles away from Keely’s car, and she’s not lost because a. there is another person from the search party taking a water break at the end of the log that Kylie is walking on and b., she has her cellphone on her.
Even though there is no service.
Kylie looks down at the stream when her partner’s walkie talkie goes off.
“EVERYONE GO NORTH UP THE CREEK, WE FOUND SOMETHING 15 MILES AWAY FROM KEELY’S CAR.” A guy was yelling into the walkie talkie.
The kind gentleman stood up and helped Kylie off the log and they both ran along the creek to the guy that called out the order.
Kylie bumps into her mother, and people start looking at Kylie with empathy.
“Mom, what is it?!” Kylie asks her mother frantically.
Kylie’s mother turns around and pulls Kylie into her arms.
“Call the police now and tell them we found Keely!” A guy yells out.
“It’s Keely, they found her body, they just called me over to confirm it, I’m so sorry honey.” Kylie’s mother says.
Kylie then pushes her mother away and then runs down to where Keely’s body lies.
“KEELY NO!! Please don’t be dead, please!!” Kylie screams out and then tries to pick up her butt naked best friend but is stopped by a police officer.
“You can’t touch her body yet.” He orders her and then speaks into his walkie talkie.
“Yeah, we need an ambulance stat.” He says into his shoulder.
“Copy that, we have one seven minutes out.” An officer says.
Then Kylie squats next to Keely who is faced down with tears in her eyes.
“Keely, who would do something like this to you?” Kylie asks her.
Keely’s parents arrived while Keely is on a stretcher.
“Keely!! Keely my baby! Not my baby!” Keely’s mother screams out while going on her knees in front of her daughter’s gurney.
And screaming, while her father was crying and talking to the medics and the two detectives on Keely’s case.
Kylie then goes on her knees next to Keely’s mom.
“Josie, I-I’m so s-sorry.” Kylie sobs.
Keely’s mother takes Kylie in her arms.
"It's going to be okay." The mother says heartbroken.
And they sit there, holding each other, as Keely is getting put in the ambulance.
