“I really feel like that Nikhi girl is out to get me.” -Keely James

September 10

“If you ever need anything Marcus, we are here for you.” Kylie’s father tells Keely’s while taking a seat next to him at the lunch.

“Thank you, it’s hard, to know that my daughter’s killer is still out there, Josie and I are keeping our son very close.” Keely’s father says while eating his bread roll so bitterly and breaking it apart.

Kylie just watches everything while dipping her chicken nugget in the mashed potatoes.

“We will find them Marcus, just please don’t murder your food.” Kylie’s mother tells him while looking at his ripped apart bread.

 He then looks down at his mess.

“Um, hey, my husband and I want to pay our respects.” A woman that Kylie spoke with at Hunter’s memorial service says.

Keely’s mom and dad both look at the couple, and Keely’s mother just rolls her eyes while Keely’s dad gives them an awkward nod.

“What’s going on?” Kylie’s father asks Kylie with a whisper.

Kylie swallows her bread roll and then starts to whisper back to her father.

“Well, that’s Hunter’s dad, and I had no clue that Hunter has a mom.” Kylie tells her father while taking a bite out of her mashed potatoes.

She just remembers seeing Hunter’s father that day when she went with Keely to Hunter’s home.

“Keely, I should probably stay in your car.” Kylie tells her best friend, a little scared and following her best friend closely.

 “Relax, Hunter and his father are home, come on.” Keely sighs and then opens up Hunter’s front door.

Kylie just rubs her arm while both girls enter inside the house.

“Hunter, you missed practice.” Keely informs the guy while storming into his bedroom.

“Oh, sorry, Hunter is in the shower.” A man tells Keely while putting Hunter’s laundry on his bed.

“Well, we will be waiting right here for him.” Keely tells him while crossing her arms and then takes a seat on his desk chair.

“Okay suit yourselves, I’ll go make some snacks for you women.” The guy just says and then walks out of Hunter’s room.

“Thanks Alexander!!” Keely shouts out the door.

Kylie then sits on the floor next to Keely and then takes out her phone from her back pocket.

“Why are we here?” Kylie asks her best friend.

“Because, Hunter missed practice and I want to know why.” Keely tells her nonchalantly.

This makes Keely roll her eyes.

The man himself then enters the room shirtless with dark blue Nike sweats on.

“You have some explaining to do mister.” Keely says while walking up to him and poking his chest.

Kylie just stabs her plate with a plastic fork and sighs about this memory.

“I can’t believe they are both gone.” Kylie sighs again and then eats her last nugget.

 September 13

“So, we believe that Keely was about to be s*x trafficked.” One of the detectives say while folding his hands.

“Um, why do you assume that?” Keely’s mom asks them while raising her eyebrow.

 “Because we found some new evidence Mrs. James.” The other detective tells her as a matter of fact while folding his arms over his chest.

This catches Kylie’s attention.
