"In the City of Singhanias, mercy is a myth, and every golden thread is a trap."

The Ghost of the Past

Agni Bose was supposed to be dead. Betrayed by the very dynasty he protected, he was left as a broken memory in the rain-slicked streets of the Urban sprawl. But the City has a dark way of bringing back its best soldiers. Through a classified, high-stakes Rebirth, Agni returns—not as the man he was, but as a Stoic, Strong, and unrecognizable Killer. He has one mission: a cold, calculated Counterattack against the man who took everything from him.

The Scheming Mastermind

At the heart of the empire sits Vikram Singhania, a Genius patriarch whose influence is a digital and physical Network that strangles the city. He is Old, Scheming, and treats lives like currency. When he hires the magnetic and Composed new enforcer, he believes he has found the perfect weapon. He doesn't realize he has invited his own executioner to dinner.

The Hidden Fire

Trapped within the Wealthy Family’s gilded walls is Kavya Singhania. To the public, she is the Pretty, elite Mafia Heiress. To her father, she is a puppet. But Kavya is a Rebellious, Kickass Heroine who has survived an Abused past by feeding a secret fire of her own. She is the only soul in the mansion who sees the Mystery in Agni’s eyes, and the only one he wasn't prepared to kill.

A Cursed Collision

As Agni leads a Double Life, tearing down the Singhania legacy by night while guarding it by day, he finds himself caught in a Fated and Cursed Love with the Don’s daughter. They both Seek Revenge, but their paths are set to collide.

In a world of Serious consequences and Dark Tragedy, Agni must decide: can a Reborn man find a future with the daughter of his enemy, or will his obsession with the past pull the Gilded Noose tight around them both?

One man seeks blood. One woman seeks freedom. Both are headed for a Bad Ending.

Chapter 1: The First Trial
The laboratory was a tomb of glass and polished chrome. Agni stood before a floor-to-ceiling mirror, staring at a stranger. The face staring back was Strong, Hot, and dangerously symmetrical—a masterpiece of reconstructive bio-engineering. He traced the line of his jaw. It felt real, but the eyes—deep, Stoic, and hollow—remained his own. The doors slid open with a mechanical hiss. Vikram Singhania stepped in, his expensive leather shoes clicking rhythmically against the tile. He looked every bit the Genius patriarch, his suit sharp enough to bleed, a heavy silver watch glinting on his wrist. He looked at Agni not as a man, but as a prized investment. "A successful Rebirth," Vikram noted, his voice a low, melodic purr. "But a weapon is useless if it refuses to strike. Do you remember your purpose, Agni?" Agni didn't flinch at the name. He remained Composed, hiding the inferno of Revenge screaming in his veins. "I remember." "Good." Vikram gestured to a reinforced steel door at the end of the hall. "Then prove it. There is a rat in my Network. A man who thought he could steal from the Singhanias and live to tell the tale. He is waiting for you in the interrogation suite." The Interrogation Suite The room smelled of ozone and fear. Tied to a heavy chair was a man Agni recognized—a low-level accountant he had once protected in his previous life. The man was sobbing, his face a map of bruises. Vikram stood behind a reinforced glass partition, watching. Next to him stood the woman from the lab—Kavya. She was dressed in black denim hot pants and a tight black T-shirt, her long dark hair messy but beautiful. Her expression was a mask of Rebellious disgust, her eyes darting between her father and the "new" killer. "Kill him," Vikram’s voice echoed through the intercom. "Show me the Stoic precision I paid for." Agni picked up the suppressed handgun from the table. It felt cold, familiar, and heavy. He approached the accountant. The man looked up, pleading with eyes that didn't recognize Agni’s new face. Agni’s finger tightened on the trigger. His mind flashed to the Red Horizon—the night he was betrayed. If he didn't do this, his Infiltration ended here. If he did, he became the monster he hated. He looked toward the glass. Kavya was staring at him, her lips parted in a silent plea. She saw the Mystery in his eyes, a flicker of humanity that didn't belong in a Singhania lapdog. Thwip. The silenced shot was barely a whisper. The accountant slumped forward, dead before he hit the floor. Agni didn't look at the body. He turned toward the glass and stared directly at Vikram, his face a frozen mask of iron. "Is that sufficient?" Agni asked. Vikram let out a dry, appreciative chuckle. "Welcome to the family, Agni. You’re going to be very useful." But as Agni walked out, he caught Kavya’s gaze. For a split second, the Kickass Heroine’s mask slipped, revealing a deep, Abused sadness. She didn't see a killer; she saw a soul as trapped as her own. The Gilded Noose had found its first victim.
