Everything hurts. It feels like my head is seconds away from exploding and my wrist is killing me, but I try to force my eyes open. It feels like sand has been poured into my eyes and I try to lift a hand to rub them, but something holds it down. "Easy, love." I freeze, that is Gabriel's voice. Why is Gabriel here? Slowly I started to remember what happened in Gareth's house, how his parents came in and attacked me. I killed them, I know I did, yet, I still feel no regret.
