I have been waiting for a few days now, hoping that you would come back to me, but I realize now that won't happen. I understand that you don't want to see me, whether it is your guilt is eating at you or simply because you figured out the truth and therefore, you might have come to hate me, but either way, I just wanted to tell you the truth about what happened from my side. That way, if it is guilt eating at you, you will find a way to better deal with it, and hopefully stop blaming yourself. If you already know the truth, then you probably already hate me and this letter would make no difference, yet I would still feel better if I could at least bring you some comfort.
