     I opened the door to Leif, who had insisted he pick me up. He looked great in a pair of jeans and form-fitting gray shirt guys sometimes liked to wear. I found myself staring at his chest as if it was going to bust through that shirt at any time. “You look beautiful,” Leif said, bringing my eyes back up to meet his. “Thanks. You look great too,” I said, mentally slapping myself for my lame comments. Alissa was going to meet us there with her date, so it was just the two of us until then.
