Astrid arrived home and found Malya seated on the sofa gaming. She was still in university studying fine art. They have been staying together for the past four years after she had left home. Malya's father had bought the condo for them since they were best friends for a long time. She looked up from the screen smiling at her then went back to her game. Astrid tapped her shoulder then walked to her room to sleep it was a tough day for her. "You'll check for me when an email comes I'm going to sleep." Without waiting for her reply she walked away and threw herself on top of the bed. She had slept for a long time when Malya woke her up. She threw a pillow at her. "What is it?" Malya was standing by her bed her hair tied back hid under the black hoodie. She gave her a sweet smile and took her hand dragging her to the living room. " An email came like five minutes ago and guess who's hired now" Astrid stood glued looking at the computer screen. She had wished to get the job but had not expected it to be this soon. "Starting tomorrow I'll be dropping you off to work when I go to my classes." Astrid jumped hugging her. She has always been her support whenever she needed her. Malya returned the hug with a gentle part. "Why don't you get dressed I'll take you out to El Mante for a drink" Astrid looked at her quizzically. She wanted to take her to drink and her job was tomorrow. "Are you serious right now" "You won't get drunk" She smiled away and left to get a change of clothes. Malya always treated her nice and she never said no to her also what could a glass of champagne do? She wore a short blue dress since it was a bit warm outside with black heels and a black handbag. As usual Malya came to style her hair. It was long and flowing to her mid back. They walked to the basement garage and drove out in Malya's Bentley. The drive was smooth and quick it was usually a ten minute drive. The El Mante was a big and prestigious club which opened mostly everyday. They usually came to blow off some steam after rough days. She told her to walk in as she parked the car and will meet her in. Astrid smiled and walked in the place was not as packed but was fill with people. She went to the bar station and ordered two drinks. As she was turning to go to her table she bumped into a man. He was taller than her his hair had a fine trim a darker shade of black from the roots. His dark eyes gave him the alpha aura around him. He was startled rather angry at her his bushy ayebrows narrowing down at her. She struggled to keep her voice steady the drinks still in her hands how she didn't get any of it on her is unknown to her. "Sorry for that " His face melted a bit her sweet voice calming his nerves a bit. "It's ok” He didn't look like it but at least he said it. She breathed out a quite sigh of relief. "You sure? Need a towel or anything "He looked at her from her heels to her head then gave her a quick grin almost as if he were laughing at her. Her face paled up within seconds frozen on the spot she felt humiliated by him. "No it's ok bumping on a pretty girl like you is ok maybe she might even agree to be worshipped by me " On a random say that would have turned her head over heels sending butterflies on her stomach but with the situation right now she didn't know what to do. Maybe he was just toying with her for his fun. But some part of her felt happy and was going crazy over his words and the sound from the mouth. He looked genuine but she had encountered many of them l like him and knows they only get the girls by just few rehearsed words and they bow at his feet. She knew every game they played with their words. "I'm talking about you" He looked startled letting out another chuckle as he was not expecting that answer from her. "Honey I'm an artist if I see a work of art I'm gonna appreciate it" She couldn't hold her amusement from that. It's different from a "you look beautiful" "Really" "Now can I get to know your name?" As she always known if a guy is really interested he'll find out who you really are. With a smile she told him off. "You have not earned it yet" The disappointment on his face was clear he was either not good at hiding it or maybe he just wanted to toy with her emotions. "Why" "Maybe when you get a portrait of me then you'll get it" "Who told you I'm that kind of an artist " He looked at her hotly making her knees weak. How can he be so effortlessly hot and sweet? ? She was almost dropping the drinks when Malya arrived standing beside her Nd taking the drinks from her. He left with a smirk on his face. She had felt all different ways and reacted differently but this one was unique she had failed terribly at keeping her cool. Maybe fate will bring them together. Malya snapped her fingers Infront of her face bringing her to reality. She was sipping on the drink looking at her unbelievably almost laughing. "Soooo....what's his name?" Astrid looked at her blankly that's when she realised she had not asked for his name or maybe he did but she didn't catch it. Who can blame her she had gone through several emotional rollercoasters within the free minutes they were together. "If I told you I don't know you won't judge me right"
