In the beginning, there was no love between them, only lust. He wanted to derive the greatest pleasure from her body, and even if they were entangled, it was merely because her body suited him.

“If you’re bored, why do you want to continue?”

He chuckled, “Because I haven’t found anyone to replace your body. Right now, I’m sick of proactive women. I miss your passive reactions when you lie beneath me.” She stared at the man’s face; he was still the demon she had met the first time, “Pervert.”

“You’ll like my perverseness.” The man’s face could be described as perfect, so stunningly handsome that it could captivate anyone, yet his words were filled with malice. His hands, long and beautiful, appeared to her like a net that ensnared her, leaving her unable to move or escape.

“Then, the same old rule—one exchange, one night in bed.” The man narrowed his eyes, smiling, lips brushing against hers, “Alright.”

She pretended to comply, but as she looked at the man over her, she thought to herself, one day he will die a miserable death. She longed for a life of freedom, but this man, from beginning to end, never let her go. Perhaps, only after he was dead could she be completely free.

If living was impossible, then let’s go to hell together. Love had already sprouted long ago, but they never realized it, trampling over it repeatedly. By the time they realized, it was already too late to turn back.

Chap1:Dark Night
As night fell, the city was bustling and noisy, the sky overcast, and an oppressive atmosphere spread in all directions. It enveloped everything, and in the center of Vecine city, the big stores remained unchanged, their lights shining brightly. A tall, slim girl dressed in a tight-fitting white outfit, with a short skirt reaching just below her hips, wore matching high-heeled boots. Her fair face was delicately made up, and she occasionally glanced at her watch. Selina frowned as she looked towards the crowded store. If it weren't for work, she would never have dressed like this to come here. The moment she saw someone approaching, she quickly put on a professional smile: "Please try our company's new product. Even just a little bit can aid digestion." Upon hearing the word "free," a crowd immediately gathered. Selina began her sales pitch: "From now on, we're having a promotion—buy two and get one free." After busying herself serving one group of customers, she glanced at her wristwatch again. It was exactly six o'clock, and she finally let out a relieved sigh, softly saying: "Time's up." She headed to the resting area to change clothes and remove her makeup. Grabbing a tissue nearby, Selina wiped her face vigorously. The large mirror reflected her makeup-free face, devoid of any expression. She tossed the tissue into a nearby trash can, stood up, and left the store. Entering an old residential building, she climbed over ten floors. As soon as she opened the door, the fragrant smell of food greeted her: "Mom, I'm home." She set her bag down on the table and said, “I’m not tired, just a little sore in my feet, Mom.” It was inevitable—except for meal breaks, she had to stand for eight hours a day, and she was wearing high heels. “Oh, Selina, you have such a high degree, but why can’t you seem to find a job?” Her mother finished cooking dinner and placed it in front of her, then sat down. Selina shook her head in confusion: “I don’t know either. Every time I go for an interview, things go well over the phone, but as soon as they look at my resume, their attitude changes. Some companies don’t even bother looking at my resume. The moment they hear my name, I’m instantly blacklisted.” Her mother casually nibbled on a piece of bread: “In theory, we haven’t offended anyone, have we?” Selina nodded in agreement: “Exactly. I’m just a recent graduate—who could I possibly have offended?” “Mom, things will get better eventually. I haven’t gotten so discouraged that I’m completely down, right?” Selina switched to a cheerful tone as she ate dinner, her young face still brimming with confidence. “I’m just worried about you working so hard.” Her mother, concerned, placed more food in her bowl. “Eat a bit more.” “Mom, I’ve got to hurry, or I’ll be late for my evening tutoring session.” Selina quickly ate a few bites, grabbed an apple from the table, and stood up. “Come home early, okay?” Her mother, still worried, followed behind her and handed her a jacket. “I know, Mom.” Selina took the jacket and rushed out the door. Vecine City, in a place known as a paradise of life, where beneath the bright lights, material wealth was always paramount. As long as you had money, you were treated like a god. Glancing towards the busy intersection, where cars were constantly streaming by, a slight, mocking smile played on Selina’s lips. In truth, her current destination was “Dark Night,” the largest nightclub in Vecine City. Just like its name, it was provocative and shadowy. But the pay was high, enough to cover her living expenses for a long time. Catching the bus, passing several stops, Selina, out of habit, sat in the last row. Through the green-tinted windows, she could see the whole city at night. All the colorful lights turned into a greenish glow that hurt her eyes. She never liked the night scene like this. At the entrance of Dark Night, the large golden letters were suspended high in the air, about ten meters tall, half artistic, half practical. They coldly gazed down at those about to fall. Inside the nightclub, the DJ was playing the most energetic music, stirring up everyone on the dance floor. Under the dim lights were passionate dances from both men and women, without distinction. Their bodies seemed liberated. Selina changed her clothes and picked up the VIP room sign beside her. It was the first-class barroom, meaning she would likely receive a lot of tips tonight. She gently curled her lips into a faint smile. The first-class barroom was the only VIP room in Dark Night. It was usually frequented by wealthy businessmen or influential political figures, so naturally, they were always generous. “Selina, beauty is your greatest asset, and you’ve got a first-class barroom too.” Lily, standing next to her, looked enviously at the VIP room sign in her hand. Her makeup was meticulously done and very bold, and her tight-fitting clothes made her figure appear even more alluring. Selina gave a faint smile in response, picked up the drinks nearby, and headed straight for the first-class bar room. “ what’s she showing off for? Back in my day, that’s what real beauty looked like!” Lily sneered, glaring at Selina’s retreating figure. She stood up, brushed off her skirt, and walked toward her assigned room. With one hand holding the drink tray, Selina lightly placed the other hand on the door and gently pushed it open. Inside, it was completely different from the outside—very quiet, showing just how effective the soundproofing was. She closed the door, took a few steps forward, and placed the tray of wine she was carrying on the table. Out of reflex, she glanced around and saw that the glass table was filled with packets of white powder, with a few people sitting nearby, neatly arranging them. Due to the dim lighting, Selina couldn't see clearly. She squatted down, turned her head back, and saw a man sitting on an Italian sofa, half-hidden in the shadows, only exposing a pair of long legs clad in an expensive suit. Selina poured the prepared wine into the glass, her movements skillful. The room was silent except for the cold sound of wine being poured. Once they finished arranging everything, one of the men pulled out a small knife and made a large slit in one of the packets. The man sitting in the shadows narrowed his eyes slightly, and from Selina's angle, he looked very sinister. The man dipped his finger into the powder, brought it to his nose, inhaled, and immediately exhaled sharply. Then he nodded to the man in the shadows. Selina's carefully made-up face suddenly turned pale. Could this be drugs, like the ones on TV? Even though during training, the manager had said that at a place like Dark Night, all kinds of people came and went, and even if she saw them commit arson or murder, she was not to speak up. But this was too terrifying, wasn't it? "Come over here and pour the drinks." The man wiped his powder-stained hands with a cloth, his eyes on Selina, his tone dissatisfied. “Yes..." Selina quickly reacted, bringing a line of glasses, picking up the opened bottle, and pouring wine into them. Seeing that Andrew had cleaned his hands, the men sitting nearby hurriedly offered cigarettes. Instantly, the room was filled with smoke. Selina, half-kneeling on the carpet, kept her head down, waiting for further orders. She thought about how she hadn't yet paid her rent for the next month, while these people lived lives of luxury and decadence beyond imagination. The men picked up their glasses from the table, clinked them together, and seeing Selina still standing there with her head bowed, Andrew shouted angrily: "Why are you spacing out? Pour a drink for Draco." "Yes." Selina took a glass of wine, approached the man in the shadows, and softly said. "Here is your drink, sir." The man lowered his leg and sat up, his body immediately coming into the light. Under the light, his face was almost perfect, exuding an aura that imposed an invisible pressure on others. His whole demeanor was filled with a cold presence, and he had a chilling allure. His deep-set eyes and sharp eyebrows were features unmatched by others. Draco took the wine glass from Senila's hand, their fingertips brushing against each other, bringing a chilling sensation. "Draco, another girl kneeling at your feet." The man from earlier laughed, turning to Senila who was beside him. "Hey, want to sleep with our boss?" Selina showed no reaction on her face and lowered her head. She was quite accustomed to being teased by customers; this was nothing new to her. “If you're good enough, maybe our boss Draco will keep you. It's better than working as a server here." The people around joined in, laughing crudely. Draco took out his wallet, pulled out a wad of cash, and slipped it into Selina's open collar right in front of everyone. She looked up, encountering such a customer for the first time. For a moment, she didn't know how to respond. The man's cold fingers touched the softness of her chest, even slipping under her bra. As he withdrew his hand, his fingertips barely brushed against her skin, causing her whole body to shiver. "Feels pretty good, not from plastic surgery," the man chuckled, downing his drink while squid at her. Selina bit her lip, a surge of humiliation filling her heart. She knew the cash currently stuffed in her bra was not a small amount. At the very least, she wouldn't have to worry about rent and living expenses for the next month. At this moment, self-respect could not be turned into food. Steadying herself, she looked up, her face pure and bright with a smile, and said: "Thank you." There was a hint of displeasure in Draco's eyes as if he didn't see Selina's smile. He handed back the wine glass to her and returned to sit in the shadows. Selina continued to pour wine, the cash in her chest burning like fire, making her very uncomfortable. There was a hint of displeasure in Draco's eyes as if he didn't see Selina's smile. He handed back the wine glass to her and returned to sit in the shadows. Selina continued to pour wine, the cash in her chest burning like fire, making her very uncomfortable. With a fake smile plastered on her face, Selina watched the golden liquid bubble in the glass, observing the luxurious, indulgent lives of those around her. She adjusted her numb, kneeling knees, with a faint, undetectable sense of disgust hidden deep in her eyes. "Knock, knock..." After two knocks, the door opened, and the manager led several girls into the room, smiling obsequiously: "Mr. Draco, these are the finest girls at Dark Night, specially prepared for you tonight." The manager turned and pushed a girl standing behind forward: "This is Candy, she just arrived, and she's still a virgin, guaranteed to suit your taste." Candy shrank back a little, but after she got a good look at Draco, her expression immediately turned shy, and she willingly moved closer. Selina maintained her previous posture. It seemed that good-looking men were always popular, no matter where they went. The others smiled at this and then chose their girls, while the manager happily left, giving Selina a look before closing the door, signaling her to serve well. Inside the room, the sounds of men's teasing and women's coquettish voices gradually grew louder. "Mm..." Candy sat straddled on Draco's lap, letting out a moan that sounded like pain. Her voice was seductive, the final note trailing off. Such a man, indeed, could charm. Selina couldn't avoid seeing this, so she tidied up the things on the table, diverting her gaze. "Mm..." Candy was still new and inexperienced, and she couldn't handle it. After a while, she was panting heavily, while the man's hands were placed on her waist, his head buried deep against her chest. The room's atmosphere was steeped in obscene luxury, and Selina unconsciously glanced at her wristwatch. It was midnight, Dark Night was not like other bars; here, as soon as the guests left, the attendants could finish their shift. He had to work an extra shift at the supermarket at nine the next morning. Selina raised her beautiful face and met Draco's deep gaze. Candy's entire body lay on him, his hands having long slipped inside her bra, fondling sensitive spots on her body. Selina quickly averted her gaze again, thinking it was probably time for this to end. As expected, Candy's body twitched and slid weakly off Draco. She felt a presence approaching her; it was Draco's tall frame as he stood up. His expensive suit remained immaculate, without a crease, and underneath was a bright white shirt. Such a noble aura that no one dared to approach.
