Jax's POV.
I had to get away from Kira before I did anything stupid. She is such a protected and fragile person, and I had to tread lightly. I felt guilty for just leaving her outside, but I needed space. It was so hard to be around her when I had to restrain myself all the time.
All I wanted to do was throw her in my bed and take her in every way possible, in any position imaginable. But she had made it clear that she needed time. Time to get used to me, and time to get used to the idea of being a Luna. I took a cold shower after our training and sat on my bed for a while, thinking about how I should go about all of this.
Her innocent way of being made me think I couldn't show her all of my sides yet. It was really tiring to behave like what I thought she could handle at that point. I
