THE LIFE GUARDS; ANOTHER PHASE OF LIFE

Kevin and his friends walked intothe house and jace angrily slammed the door. Jace was so angry because the demons found a way into their world and he's not able to see the tree. The we're all sitting across the table after escaping from the school premises that was shutdown, then Jace asked how the could see through the portal and who made it visible to them, everyone turned to Tessa. Kevin asked her what she saw and why she was about to walk through the portal. She answered that she has no idea because she felt like she was being pulled towards the tree.

Jace was alermed by that and he turned and asked Tessa if she saw the tree And asked if Jane and Q saw it too and the both denied immediately. Tessa told them the tree was ok but there was a barrier around it. Jace added that they need to get rid of that barrier because they can find out the real problem the tree had if it is being protected and restricting anyone from having access to it. They decided to find the solution to the demon attacks first since they don't really know who the next victim might be. Jane offered to ask for permission from the principal since she's the class representative. When she called the principal telling him she forgot a very important book at school and she needs it urgently.

They we re about to enter the school but this time in the right manner. They met the security guards and told them they're here to take their books but the security guard allowed just tessa and Jane into the school premises.

They we're on their way upstairs when Jane suggested they split up so they can find clues faster, Tess agreed and they both continued their search in different directions.

When Jane reaches the empty classroom she figured its empty again with no portal, she tried everything to make the portal appear again but nothing worked, meanwhile the others we're outside with the security guards talking hoping the girls would be safe. Jane turned to leave when something held her back and she screamed, Tessa heard her scream and ran as fast as she could towards the direction of the sound. when she turned it was a demon they both engaged in a duel and Jane was impressive.

The demons kept multiplying if she tried to attack so she stopped and tried defending herself . A demon was about to stab her from behind when Tessa entered the room and killed the demon with one strike and Jane turned to her amazed. More demons kept coming out of the portal and they needed to seal the door of the Classroom so they wouldn't go out but they we're outnumbered and struggled to hold the door on the outside. Kevin's eyes suddenly started glowing, he felt yhe girls we're in danger and slipped away while they we're still conversing. He ran to the back and tried to go over the fence and succeeded on the first trial when he got into the school, he started searching for the girls. Q and Jace kept distracting the security guard to prevent him from figuring out what was going on.

Tessa and Jane kept holding the door but they weren't stronger than those demons.

The demons opened the door slightly and pulled Tessa into the room, Tessa kept telling Jane never to let go of the door. Few moments later Kevin arrived and met Jane outside struggling with the door, he ran to her and held the door with her. Jane was in tears and said to kevin that Tessa is inside, immediately me tried to open it but Jane told him there are alot of demons inside and she promised tessa that she wouldn't open the door under no circumstance.

Kevin kept yelling tessa's name hoping they'll hear her reply.

Few moments later, they saw a very bright light coming from inside the room some of the light rays escaped outside, they both turned to protect their eyes. They opened the door and ran inside immediately the light stopped. They saw Tessa lying on the floor unconscious. Kevin ran to her and took her in his arms and the three of them walked out of the room and the door was shut.

When they reached outside Jace distracted the guards so they could leave the school premises un noticed.

Few hours later, Tessa opened her eyes and saw all her friends and Jace standing around her bed.

Kevin sat beside her immediately to check her temperature asking her how she was feeling and she asked "what exactly happened and for how long has she been sleeping", Jace replied "we should be asking you the same question." Then kevin explained to her about the light they saw but they don't know the source so they we're hoping She'll know since she was inside the room when it happened.

Tessa was staring at them confused, it was obvious that she couldn't remember a thing. Jace asked everyone to leave the room so she can rest a little and they all obeyed.

They all gatherered outside to find possible clues about the rays of light that destroyed the demons since its the solution to the demon problem. Q added that he feels Tessa has something to do with it since she was the only one who saw the tree last time and they decided to check if the portal is still opened if they arrived at school the next day. Everyone returned home at the end of the day.

They all met at the school gate and went straight to the classroom before the morning assembly they saw the classroom normal again with nothing suspicious.

During the morning assembly, isabell kept staring at kevin, Q noticed it and assumed kevin had a new crush so he kept teasing him till the assembly was over. When they went into their classes, their form teacher arrived and we see isabell entering the class with him. He introduced Isabell as a new transfer student who apparently was in the wrong class all along, when she walked past Tessa, immediately tessa turned to her in shock but didn't utter a word.

Isabell met with jane during lunch break asking her to explain everything to her since she resumed late and Jane agreed. When she was explaining to her she kept staring at kevin and jane also noticed. When they left school that day and they gathered for a meeting Jane asked kevin if isabell ever approached him before and he denied it. Q also said he noticed the staring and assumed she likes him. Tessa became angry and yelled at everyone to stop saying things they aren't sure of and they all kept quiet immediately.

There wasn't any news about demon attacks again after that day so everyone lived freely they continued their studies and Jace returned back, jane and isabell became close but Tessa could bring herself to be friends with a girl after the guy she likes so they weren't really close.

They we're all preparing for their university entrance exams and they have decided on the courses they would like to study kevin and Q wanted to be doctors, Tessa wanted to be a medical laboratory scientist while jane and isabell wanted to be nurses. They met up everyday and studied hard together, this made their parent so proud of them. Their aim was to be the best.

On the day of the entrance exams they all left home early and went for their exams. Kevin and Q waited to be called in, then isabell called kevin to wish him good luck then all of a sudden kevin heard a loud sound, he kept calling her name but there was no answer so he left in a haste without telling Q a word, when he got to Isabell he was told she had an accident and has been taken to the hospital.

When he entered to hospital and asked for her, he was informed she was in the emergency room. When he arrived there she was unconscious. He met tbe doctor and he was informed she is in a comma.

Few moments later, her family rushed in to see their child in that state and they we're all crying her dad went out with kevin to talk and he introduced himself as her class mate from school and a friend, her dad thanked him for everything and he turned to leave the hospital when he realized he has missed his exams. He tried calling Q, when he answered he asked why he decided to miss the exams and kevin narrated everything to him. Kevin felt so disappointed in himself for not making it back in time.

When he got back home, his mum encouraged him that everything happens for a reason. Few days later they all saw their results and they passed some month later they started preparing to leave for school. Kevin started applying for admission into international schools.

He woke up one morning and checked his email, to he surprise he was an admission letter, he screamed in happinesses. Few seconds later his phone started ringing and he was shocked when he checked who the caller was.
