Chapter Twenty One: Same Old War
~ I’ve been keeping to myself lately, hiding wherever the shadows may be. I tuck my hair behind my ears, sighing. Why can’t I keep myself under control?, I thought. The bell rings for class to start. Instead of heading to first period, I change my direction towards the school’s front doors, just waiting to get out of here. “Miss Madison?” I stop in my tracks to find the principal Mrs. Gales looking at me.
