Chapter 12

There was a weight on my chest as I groggily began to open my eyes. I looked up to Analise sleeping on my chest. I thought back to what happened. She had made attempt to use attack magic. She was not ready for it at all. I looked at my arm, it still felt a little sore but there was no more bleeding at least. I turned my attention back to my beautiful dreamer that was lying on me now. I pushed a little bit of hair from her face to see her better. Her face looked contorted in pain. I could tell she was dreaming. Curiosity got the better of me and I slipped in to see what she was dreaming about.    She was back at the castle trying to fight guards off. Analise made it past a bunch of them using solely her levitation magic. I watched as she expertly moved through each one like they were nothing. She had finally made it to the throne room, ready to take on the king. The guards came in with a man that she clearly recognized. Her husband, well the one she had in her previous dreams. Panic swept over her. She insisted that the guards release him. They refused and she became furious. Angrier than I had ever seen her. The air around her began to move around her, swirling with power. A pulse ray came from her body and began hurdling towards the three men in front of her, she could not control it and her “husband” got caught in the blast. She ran over to where he laid on the ground. Analise took him in her hands, cradling his head and began to cry. She had killed him along with the guards.   I was finished watching her dream. It was rather eye opening to me. She was now afraid of the fact that she could not control the attack magic, which she was should be. It is a very dangerous thing for a wielder to use. She was stupid to try and use it without any guidance at all. Not only that she was still hung up on her “husband”. He did not even exist!! Why was she dreaming about him? I thought she was starting to develop feelings for me. She was here in bed with me, laying on my chest. Analise needed to let go of this guy, because he was just a dream and I was real! I took her face into my hand and rubbed my thumb across her cheek. I just needed her to accept me. I took in her appearance and realized she was wearing close to nothing. A pair of black form fitting shorts, and a yellow shirt that left her arms and midriff completely exposed. These clothes left nothing up to the imagination. She was practically naked and in my bed. What was she trying to do?   Her beautiful grey eyes began to flutter open. She let out a large yawn and stretched out, which really showed off her slim figure. Analise looked at me and smiled.   “I am so glad you are awake! I was so afraid something was going to happen to you! Are you doing ok?” She looked at me with concern.   “I am doing fine, how did you sleep?” A slight irritation in my voice.   “Fine, I suppose. I just did not want to leave you alone. I was worried you would stop breathing or something.”   “I am ok now, but what were you thinking trying to use attack magic like that? Did you not read how dangerous it is?”   “I thought I would be able to pick it up fast, just like levitation. I did not think it would be an issue. Plus, I need it if I am going to go get my memories.”   “I understand why, but what you did was stupid. It was reckless and you could have killed me or even yourself.”   She looked down clearly feeling guilty about it. I looked at her again analyzing her outfit.   “Where did you even get those clothes from?”   “They kind of just appeared in my hands. I was holding the rabbit pelts outside and they transformed into these clothes.”   My eyes widened. She did not even realize she was the one who did it.   “Were the clothes exactly what you pictured in your mind?”   “Yeah I think so. I just wanted something comfortable to practice in.”   “That is creation magic... it is the hardest of all domains to master and you did it without even thinking about it.”   I ran outside and returned with a small block of wood. I put it in her hands. She looked at me confused.   “I want to try something. Take that block, look at it, and think whistle.”   She nodded and within seconds the block had turned into a little wooden whistle. She did it like it was nothing at all.   “Analise I do not think your domain is healing. I think it is creation.”   “Is that a good thing?”   I nodded in amazement. I had never seen creation magic in person, only ever reading about in books. I had tried creation magic myself many times but I just never had it in me. Analise did not just have a low-level ability increation. She had pretty much changed the whole composition of the rabbit pelts. The fur was now a fabric. I understood why King Cardwell wanted Analise under his control now. She was a very powerful wielder with a very rare domain. I could dedicate twenty years of study and never be close to where she was with it. She was very special and I knew the king would never stop looking for her now. It was not a good idea for her to go back to the castle. She needed to stay out of his reach. That would be hard to convince her to do though.   “Analise, I am ready to show you my memory now. I think you need to see it.”   Her eyes lit up. She had been waiting for this moment. I put my hands on either side of her head and closed my eyes. There was no going back now.
