“Silver bullets only kill vampires, Ciaran.” Susan smiled at Ciaran and then returned her gaze to Madeline.
Susan didn’t look like an ordinary housekeeper. Her smile was radiant, her movements were gracious, and her voice was soft and alluring. She spoke as if she were chanting a magic spell. Madeline hadn’t interacted with Susan before, and the notes Madeline Taylor had written in a hurry didn’t mention much about her.
