Jo was an excellent driver, whether it was a car or a spaceship. More importantly, she would never accept making a driving mistake, let alone a poor attempt at parking.
From across the lawn in front of the mansion, Madeline saw her friend not only mention her poor parking but apologize for the sinkhole she had just caused. She didn’t step out of the capsule and didn’t look at the owner of the property she had just destroyed.
Instead, she looked straight at Madeline.
