As Madeline approached, the grand oak door of the chamber swung open. It wasn’t magic. The automatic door opened for her because of her authority in this universe.
Walking along the long gothic corridor with large windows and statues of strange-looking creatures, she admired the efforts of the witches in the multiverse, trying to make their chamber in the multiverse feel like their home on Earth.
Madeline walked through layers of magic curtains to get to the grand hall. The magic had no impact on her except to cause a tingling sensation on her skin.
