When Zen woke up the next morning her face felt puffy from crying and her head was throbbing, which she put down to dehydration. She downed a glass of water and f*rced herself to get into a cold shower, hoping the cold water on her face would reduce the puffiness. She pulled on some jeans and a hoodie, not caring what she looked like and made her way outside, not hungry in the least.
