Zen and her Father drove in relative silence until they pulled up to a viewpoint just out of town. The city looked like a star flecked night beneath them, a beacon that could be seen from space. From all the way up here everything looked alive with star fire as the moon shone its crescent face down upon them.  They both remained quiet as they stared at the view before them.
