"But why did you do that? I had the situation under control" Nadi's face twitched with both anger and disappointment as he stared darkly at the girl.  "Oh yeah," she hissed and dusted her green hood. "You really had the situation under control. I should have allowed his sword to shred your flesh first before saving your woody head." Nadi shook his head and struggled up to his feet. Regardless of the heat from the evening sun, the forest was moist and nabbed a chill that caused the hair on the skin to stand on their feet.
