Nadi closed his eyes, wishing the dusty metal floor would open and swallow him up. He had returned from his wonderland to his cell. The fancy clothes and the good treatment were gone. This was his real world. The place he really belongs. The smell of heat and mouth odor was enough, and he was ready to accept his blight. However bad it may seem. This was his world now. There was no going back. He thought he was different. He thought he was going to find a way out of this hellish place. But that was impossible. Death and escape are inevitable. There was no place to run. Not after what he had seen in the slave mistress’s office. This is probably where his life would end. He was going to die as a slave after all.
