Beauty Constancia is an epitome of beauty and resilience. She grew up in poverty but worked hard to complete her education. One day, she applied for a position as a secretary in a renowned company, only to be unexpectedly reunited with her mortal enemy and rival, Giovanni Salvadino, whom she nicknamed "the beast" due to his unpleasant demeanor. To her surprise, she discovered that her former enemy had become a successful CEO of the very company she applied to. Beauty's life takes an unexpected turn when she also crosses paths with Gabriel Monticello, Gio's cousin and her ex-lover from high school.

Chapter 01
— THIRD POV'S, In a hurry, the young woman quickly got up because she had to go to work. It was her first day, so she needed to be early to make a good impression and not lose her job. She took a quick shower, opting for a shortcut, and put on a new outfit she had bought yesterday at Montecillo Mall. She wore a baby pink polo t-shirt and a denim skirt, pairing them with 2-inch heeled sandals. She didn't bother with makeup, just applying some powder and lip tint. She sprayed a little perfume and, after getting tired of looking in the mirror, she grabbed her black crossbody bag and left. She arrived at 7:20 AM, with 15 minutes left to reach her building. She practically ran to catch the elevator, determined not to be late. — BEAUTY POV'S, Once I reached the 10th floor, I rushed into the office where I would be working. "Are you new here?" a woman asked me. She was wearing a dress and had thick makeup on her face. "Yes, I was hired yesterday. And you?" I replied. "I'm new too, by the way. I'm Melanie Sanchez." She reached out her hand for a handshake, smiling at me, revealing her braces. "I'm Beauty Constancia. Nice to meet you, Melanie," I said, smiling back as I shook her hand. Our attention was diverted when a tall man in a black suit entered the room, followed by a woman linked to his arm. "I believe all the new employees of Montecillo are here now. I'm Bryan Guzman, the vice president, and this is our CEO, Gio Montecillo." Three bodyguards entered the room first, followed by the tall man wearing shades. His expensive cologne filled the air, and his skin was incredibly smooth. I was in awe when he took off his shades. I blinked several times to make sure I was seeing him correctly. No, it can't be! It's not him! I screamed in my mind. I was almost about to fall to the floor when he saw me and approached, causing me to step back in surprise. "It's nice to see you again, Beauty, or should I call you MY secretary," he smirked. I couldn't help but stare at his face as I heard him say those words. Was it just my imagination, or did he emphasize the word "MY"? I couldn't deny that he had matured, and his body showed that he had been hitting the gym, as his muscles were clearly visible through his polo shirt. Yummy! "Done checking?" he said in a husky voice. I couldn't help but blush at his intense gaze, feeling as if he was hypnotizing me. Our attention was quickly redirected when someone cleared their throat. I had forgotten that we were not alone. Oh, how embarrassing, Beauty! I couldn't help but pinch my cheek in embarrassment. Gio returned to his position and turned away, but before leaving, he spoke again. "Welcome to all new employees, especially my new secretary. I hope you will enjoy your first day with me." I didn't hear what he said next because he had already left. ——— I could hardly focus on my work because of the embarrassment that happened earlier and the judgmental looks from my officemates. "Wow, the new girl is already flirting!" "They must know each other, maybe they're past lovers!" I cringed at what I heard. Past lovers? Eww!! I muttered to myself. I almost jumped out of my seat when I saw Melanie getting too close to my face, grinning. "Oh, what are you doing here, and why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, feeling awkward. "You, huh? You didn't mention that you know Fafa Gio." I almost gagged at the mention of "Fafa." "You're not my friend, okay?" "Oh, how hurtful! I introduced myself to be friends with you." "Fine, fine, we're friends." "There you go! So, what's your relationship with Fafa Gio? Friends or Past-lovers." She grinned and poked my side. Duh! Hahah NO WAY over my gorgeous body!" "Oh, it seems like you're allergic to him. So, what are you then?" "We're enemies." Melanie looked at me in surprise, almost speechless after hearing my response. "Wait, as in enemies? Like, arch-enemies? Oh no, You two are perfect for each other, but why are enemies?" She said with a hint of sadness in her voice. "We're not meant to be, you know. I'm a human, and he's a beast!" "A handsome beast!" "We're mortal enemies since we're in elementary because we can't stand each other. I remember that time when we both got detention, but they had to release us after a few minutes because it felt like World War 3 was about to break out." "You guys are intense, but honestly, you two look good together. That's why I cancelled Fafa Gio on my crushlist because I'm thinking that you two liked each other. So I guess I'll settle for Mr. VP instead. Hahah, he's hot too." "Hey, you two, stop gossiping and get back to work. And you, Ms. Constancia, Boss is calling for you now. Hmph!" One employee said. "Fine, I'll go back there. That witch is so irritating. Bye Beauty." I shook my head at her behavior and headed to the restroom to freshen up, carrying my purse with me. "Why am I even bothering to fix myself up? It's just Gio. Gio, who doesn't care about anything except ruining my day." I sighed and put my lip tint back in my purse before making my way to Gio's office. Knock! Knock! "Come in." I walked in, marveling at what I saw. The lavish sofa, the desk with a newspaper and fruits on top, and the gray walls adorned with collections. "So, how was your first day?" My attention immediately shifted to Gino, or should I say, Sir Montecillo, who seated in his swivel chair, staring directly at me. "It was fine until I saw something unpleasant." I gave him a fake smile and note the sarcasm. "Well, get used to it, Ms. Secretary, because starting tomorrow, you'll be working here inside my office, and you'll see my handsome face every day." He grinned at me. Arghh, I can't believe this. So, I'll have to see his face every single day. I wish I could strangle Gio right now... "By the way, Ms. Constancia, it's already lunchtime. Do you want to come with me?" He asked as I cleared his desk. "No thanks, sir. I'll go now and enjoy your lunch." I was about to leave when he called me again. "You need to come early tomorrow, I have something important for you to do," he said with a serious tone. Curiosity sparked within me, and I couldn't help but shrug in response. "Okay, Sir. I'll make sure to be there," I replied, my mind filled with questions about the task that awaited me. As I walked out of his office, my curiosity continued to gnaw at me. What could be so significant that he needed me there early? The anticipation grew, and I couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead.
