They return to the bar they all get out of the vehicle together and Zach realised they still have the weapons Hope gave them.
“ Hey I’ve got your gun still “ he gestures towards it .
Hope thinks about it for a minute.
“ Keep it she says if you need more ammo ask Pam she can get it for you “.
“You sure ?” He asks .
“Absolutely “ Hope responds patting him on his back as she walks past him .
She then gives a little smile to Damon and suddenly he feels the tension between them slightly lift.
He thought she was hot but actually he noticed for the first time she is quite amazing beautiful strong and just has something about her .
He watches her walk off towards the bar door .
Zach was talking to Autumn but now has finishes his conversation and comes up behind Damon and slaps him on the back .
“ You like her “ Zach says .
“. As I said she’s a b***h “ Damon grunts and walks away a smile on his face as he could hear Zach laughing and following him .
The boys went into the bar Hope is already at a table looking at the menu .
She didn’t know why she looks at the menu she always eats the same thing .
The boys sit at her table then Autumn comes in the door and joins them .
Pam comes over “ all good “ she asks .
“ Well we cleared the nest saved some people but no Master “ Autumn answered.
“ We need to eat but then we can carry on the search “ Hope said .
“ Let me guess going back to the food you want a bacon XL cheeseburger with sweet potato fries ?”
“ You got it “ Hope said .
“ I didn’t mean for you “ Pam laughed looking at Damon “ looks like you two got a lot in common “.
Hope and Damon looked at each other and both start to laugh the ice finally starting to melt between them .
“ Two salads for the healthy two “she gestured to Autumn and Zach .
They nodded .
Pam went off in the kitchen to sort the food .
“Sorry if I was a bit pushy “ Damon suddenly said deciding maybe he was to harsh at first and maybe Pam was right and a nicer approach was needed .
They all stare at him .
“ Its just we lost are parents and we are involved in something big we just got no idea what .People like John come for us and we don’t know why your the first person we met who could really help us “ he said .
Hope looked at him for a few minutes then answered “ it’s hard when you have some fated destiny and your life’s not yours “ she said “I know how you feel “.
Autumn looks at Hope willing her to speak to the boys .
Hope nods and suddenly gets up and walks off without a word five minutes later she returns with a book and slammed it on the table .
“ Ok you asked for it you may not believe it but here goes angels and demons are real and they are both fighting for power they both wanna to rule the world , it is said that two brothers will be the bodies for the ark angels Michael and Lucifer who will fight to the death who ever survives inherits the world “
Damon open the book and started to read .
“ But here’s the thing “ she continued “ prophecies are funny things there aren’t set in stone they express the path your on at the time your on it but if you change your path the prophecy is null and void I myself have changed fate on many occasions.”
Damon passed the book to Zach.
“ What about are parents ?” Zach asked .
“Your mum was an angel your dad human that’s why they want you as you part angel so can contain an angel “
“ But Lucifers the devil” Damon said .
“ Yes but once he was an ark angel and s very powerful one“ Autumn said .
Damon looked serious again “ your trying to tell me angels are real and we had one as a parent”
Hope nodded “ if you believe in demons why do you find it so hard to believe in angels” she asked.
“ Can we borrow this book “ Zach said .
“ Of course “ Hope responded.
“So let me get this straight “ Damon said your saying we are half angels and two of the most powerful angels are going to come and take over our bodies and fight to the death “.
“Pretty much sums it up “. Hope replied “ angels like irony two brother inherit two other brothers “.
Pam had bought out the food and was standing listening to the conversation .
“ is that why people keep attacking them ? “.
“Yes” Hope said “ you have angels v demons both will come and try to take you down to help there masters “.
“This is a lot to take in “ Zach said .
“Are you sure about this “ Damon asked Hope .
“I am 100% “ she said .
They all sat in silence for a few moments .
“ So “ Damon said “ your fast and strong so what are you are you an angel or a demon ?“
Hope looked hesitant and laughed “ No I’m human but I’m something else all together as well “ she said .
