At Danny’s everyone was having a great time. Cindy and Sam were enjoying all of the attention they were receiving. While everyone was busy celebrating, Laura wandered over to the table with the mirror. She had been there so many times with Marissa, she found it easily. She sat down and sighed.
“If only I could get my sight back so I could see Joe graduate,” she said.
A white light came from the mirror and bathed Laura in light. It only lasted a few seconds, but everyone stopped and stared. Brian and Marsha rushed over to see about Laura. Mary and Gary were with them.
“Are you alright, Laura?” asked Brian.
Laura looked up at him and smiled.
“I’m fine. I asked the magic mirror to let me see, so it did,” Laura smiled again. “I can see.”
“It healed you!” exclaimed Mary.
