In Kansas City, Joe was getting concerned about Laura. He had been looking in every mirror he passed. He had not talked to her in several days. He was hoping she was alright. Being worried about Laura was distracting him from studying. He was studying for finals, and he wanted to do well. He needed to find out if Laura was alright.
