Life resumed its usual routine on Monday morning, much to Daniella's chagrin. The week off had gone all too fast, seemingly passing in a blur now that she looked back on it and realised she hadn't utilized it as much as she'd planned to. In fact, the majority of it seemed to be spent in a haze, trapped in a loop of thoughts of Andrei and guilt at her deceit. The first lecture of the week wasn't as unpleasant as expected, much like the rest of her day. When she'd arrived home that evening, exhausted from a full day of lectures and studying with little break in-between, she was ready to go straight to bed.
