Chapter 9: The Wedding

Alexandra and the triplets decided to do the wedding in the woods by the lake. It pleased Kali that this would be an nontraditional ceremony. With the only exception being having the council blessing and announcement. All of this was done in the morning daylight and it was a small gathering of close family, friends, and council members. 

The wedding itself will take place by the lake. Flowers vines, string lights, an arch, and chairs were all set up in the morning. A wedding decorating company was hired to do most of the decor, and Tracy managed to assist with the wedding favors and food menu. This was certainly going to be an outdoor wedding but with all the pizzazz of a royal wedding. His Luna deserved whatever she desired, down to the vanilla cinnamon cupcakes with raspberry jelly. Kali closed his eyes, he can still imagine her face when the wedding cake planner came for the tasting. Alexandra had licked the raspberry jelly off her fingers and it was the most erotic thing Kali witnessed.

He smoothed his hair back and adjusted himself in his pants. Tonight, he will finally bond his mate to him. His wolf Cobalt was jumping for joy all morning. We both couldn't wait for the transformation either. After the wedding, both Alexandra and Kali would walk into the woods to shift and have their newlywed run under the light of the Moon Goddess. Alexandra was nervous, we waited to have the wedding also on her eighteenth birthday. No one in the pack knew that Alexandra's birthday was today, it was kept secret so to keep her true identity secret. Only the main council members were made aware and an agreement was made to not inform the entire pack until we found out the truth behind the Lycan attack on her pack.

The music filtered through the air, a small band began playing the wedding march song. Kali took a deep breathe and stood waiting for his bride.

Alexandra tried not to walk too fast down the bed of flower petals leading to Kali. Her wedding dress was designed of fine Italian lace, pure white velvet, and sheer mesh at the sides revealing some skin at her waist. The designer insisted on leaving a heart-shaped low cleavage to show off her perfect smooth skin and pulse point. It would drive Kali crazy, she said. To be so close to her neck, enough to kiss it while they danced. It made Alexandra's mouth dry. Her hair was braided with tiny flowers and crystals, a small diamond crown borrowed from Kali's jewelry safe. It belonged to his great-great-grandmother Katrina, a brave red wolf. 

When Alexandra stood by Kali, he gave her the brightest smile..."You look ravishing, mi amore," he whispered. Alexandra smiled back nervously, she felt her hands clammy, and her stomach fluttered.

"Same to you, Alpha," Alexandra whispered softly. Kali's eyes darkened.

The vows were exchanged, amazingly Kali spoke his own vows affirming he would always protect his Luna with his life. And, Alexandra vowed to trust her Alpha with her heart, soul, and life. The triplets tried to hide their eyes with their hands when Kali and  Alexandra exchanged their kiss.

Except for Ektor, he cheated. He lifted two fingers to glimpse what kissing was all about.  He thought it was disgusting!!!

After the wedding the guest were all allowed to congratulate the couple. Tracy and the other wedding planners took care of the reception activities. Alexandra seemed more and more relaxed as she enjoyed all the good cheer from her new pack members. They made her feel welcomed and like she belonged. The triplets were stuck at the chocolate fountain for most of the night, they probably stuffed themselves silly with chocolate enough to not eat it again in a year!

Their first dance was truly magical. They played John Legend, "All of Me," which made so many woman wipe their eyes and sigh. So many single omegas wished they could find their mates like their Luna did. 

"You smell so intoxicating my love. You are the most beautiful being on earth," Kali whispered in her ear while slow dancing. "I will never tire of your scent,  I want to bottle it up and take it with me wherever I go." Kali promised.

"I love how you smell, too. Of..of sandalwood and fresh morning air. It makes me want to stay in your arms forever." Alexandra couldn't hold back anymore. Having him so close an in her arms, it was driving her senses haywire. She wanted him to kiss her again the way he did in the hallway. He couldn't stop thinking about that kiss for days.

Kali smiled in her ear and promised her, he would hold her in his arms all night long tonight.

"Luna Princess Alexandra and Alpha Kali Black, you are free to honor us with your first run!" The announcement was made loud enough to get everyone on their feet and clapping. Kali lead Alexandra away from the lights of the reception area and closer to the woods.

"Are you ready my love to shift? Our wolves are waiting for us," Kali looked serious. Alexandra smilled nervously. "I am ready."

Alexandra took her shoes off, her crown, while Kali took his suit jacket and shirt off. Marcus and Tracy grabbed their clothing and waited for them. Kali and Alexandra hand-in-hand walked closer to the lake. Kali took a deep breathe and began to shift. Alexandra mouth formed an "O" as Cobalt licked her face, encouraging her to shift. Alexandra focused on letting out her wolf. She began to hear her dress tear apart and bones cracking. She let out a small whimper the pain was subsiding, it was not as painful as she thought it would be. She opened her eyes and grasped.

She saw her reflection in the water. She was a pure silver wolf with violet eyes. She looked over at Kali, Cobalt sniffed and licked her fur. Selene, her wolf hummed low as Cobalt could not contain his excitement. 

Cobalt lead the run! 

Selene, follow me...Cobalt! where are we going? Selene we are going somewhere special for our run. 

They ran not too far from where the lake was. There was a small clearing with an ancient looking circle of stones. It almost resembled a small replica of Stonehenge. 

Is this a magic circle?

You can see the circle of stones? asked Cobalt to Selene.

It is. This is the magic circle of stones where the Moon Goddess birthed the first werewolf. From this circle the first Alpha King was born. Do you see anything else? Look at the stones.

Selene scanned the stones, a growl came out in her excitement. I can read the scriptures!

Cobalt howled. Kali knew his Luna was gifted, so gifted the Moon Goddess gave her the power to read the Goddess own secret markings on the stones!

Kali urged Cobalt to head back. It was time to bond his Luna. 

Cobalt understood the urgency.

He licked Selene and signaled her to run back.

Selene ran faster than Cobalt.

Kali laughed. He knew Selene would be the perfect mate for Cobalt.
