Hot steam gushed out like geysers shooting out into the darkness. Hell is a hot inferno, a pool of twisted limbs in different states of decomposition screamed in agony. Gust of fire balls shot into the crowds of corpses, burning their skin over and over. The smell of roasting flesh and blood filtered the air. Inhaling deeply, the Underworld God hummed to himself so satisfied by their suffering. These souls didn't suffer enough in his eyes, they deserved bigger punishments than burning skin and hot steam baths.
Sighing he floated his eyes to the one who just walked through the gates of Hell. Interesting, he craned his head to the side. It's not everyday he gets a visit by the high witches. They're so uppity, always trying to intervene in his affairs.
"Lord Lucifer, so gracious to see you looking so divine," Sabrina extended her witches hand to him while bowing.
Lucifer knew this b***h wanted something from him. Sabrina was the least cordial of the twin sister witches. The fact they were white witches meant he couldn't touch them. Even if he wanted to, he knew what the consequences would be to destroy any one of the twins. He would loose his kingdom.
"A pleasure Sabrina, what brings you to my most humble hell yard?" Lucifer flashed his big teeth and stomped his hooves at her. He loved making the witches nervous.
Sabrina shrugged her shoulders passively, "Anna."
Lucifer moved so fast, towering over Sabrina she almost bent onto her knees. "SHE IS MINE!"
Sabrina felt the anger radiating from him. She bowed her head in agreement. This was not the time to go against what he says, if she can convince him to visit her just once.
"Yes, my Lord. No one disagrees with you. It was our mistake to try to save her soul to linger on earth. We understand now she belongs to you. Her children are introuble, my Lord. The Witches Coven has done all it can to protect the children from Carlotta, but Carlotta grows stronger," Sabrina rushed her words trying to distract him.
"And why would I help you?" Lucifer smiled knowing he could strike a bargain with Sabrina for more souls. He loved taking souls and making them suffer. He especially wanted Carlotta's soul in Hell forever, but he gave no indication of this to Sabrina.
Sabrina thought about her answer before directly cutting to the chase. "Anna would want them safe and living. You have the power to protect them from Carlotta. In turn, Anna will be most grateful to you Lord. She may even desire to be your eternal Queen.I...I need to consul with her"
Anger flashed again across Lucifer's eyes. He forced the most imposing stare at Sabrina, watching her almost piss her witch panties..."ANNA IS MINE! She IS my Queen whether I protect her kids or not. You come here asking for permission to speak to her!!! How DARE you WEAKLING" so angry now his entire body begins to burst into fire.
Sabrina takes a few steps back, the heat starting to burn the hair off her arms. The smell of her own sizzled hair fills her nostrils. She is not a coward, this is not about her but about Ann'a children.
"Forgive me my Lord, I do not mean to anger you. Carlotta has broken out of the Witches Asylum last night. We believe she means to extract the triplets powers, and bargain their souls to the highest bidder. Meaning, she'll go against her word to you during Anna's soul taking. You made Anna a promise, her soul or her children's. What will you do?" Sabrina waited. She knew no one dared contradicting Lucifer.
Lucifer laughed, pondering the whole situation. So many years ago he had no idea Anna would be what she is, his Queen...his everything. Carlotta's ambitious, hateful nature brought her to do the most atrocious acts. Acts Lucifer enjoyed watching. The mindless killings, the dark sacrifices, the giving of herself to the dark side. Carlotta's complete submission was pure bliss. His demons didn't even have to invade her mind or body, she willingly gave in drinking innocent blood, that of young babies and pregnant women. Lucifer watched her bring suffering, it turned him on the more reckless Carlotta became. So when she managed to coerce her way into Hell one day, he knew what she wanted the most.
A child, his Princess Anna.
He gave her the dark force to conceive the seed from the blood King. Anna was not meant to be a simple vampire child, she was meant to be close enough to an fallen Angel.
Anna had the power to live in Hell and Heaven. Anna didn't know this. Lucifer never told her, this would be sharing her with that i***t God in Heaven.
Lucifer's ultimate sin, to love another Angel. That is what Anna is, an innocent creation created from two evil's.
"Sabrina, since her children are like my stepchildren...let's just say, I'm willing to bend the rules a little. I'll send my own soldiers in disguise to keep an eye on Carlotta. If she comes close to killing any of the triplets, I will personally handle her myself. I can not say the same for ....other souls involved." He smile widely, loving the idea of adding a few miserable souls.
Sabrina bowed, asking again..."and of a visit with Anna, my Lord..."...Sabrina's voice didn't waver.
He flicked his wrist and the entire scene before Sabrina's eyes blurred. She was standing in the middle of the most beautiful garden full of flowers and chirping birds. This is where he kept Anna, in her own little paradise in Hell.
Sabrina knew he was watching her. There was nothing she could do about this, Anna was sitting by a bench reading a book quietly. Sabrina had only seen Anna in her witches dreams a handful of times, grieving for her children...
When Anna looked up, she frowned as if trying to place where she remembered Sabrina from. The longer Anna stays in Hell, the less she'll remember her past. Sabrina knew the only thing linking her to earth now was the memory of her children. She probably lost all recognition of her love for Dominic. Sad.
"Princess Anna, it is Sabrina. It's been so long since I last saw you. I'm here to talk about Ektor, Anna, and Mariah." Sabrina waited patiently, hoping Anna recognized the names.
Anna frowned, saying "My children, how are they Sabrina? Lucifer says they are growing healthy and strong. Sometimes we sit together and watch them from afar. I wish they could be with me, Lucifer says they have a different life path." Anna smiles, seemingly impressed by the promise Lucifer gives her about the triplets. Sabrina doesn't know everything Lucifer has revealed about the triplets.
"They are the strongest little ones for sure, Lucifer is right about that. I'm here to tell you that Anna will visit soon. She will bring a message to you about Carlotta."
Anna's face twisted in pain. The mention of that name having a deep affect on her. Lucifer as if sensing her distress appeared in the garden, walking towards them he stopped to sit by Anna. He holds her hand in his and gives it a squeeze. Anna turns to him and smiles, thanking him with her eyes.
"Sabrina has to go now, Anna. She has important things to do before Anna visits us. I'm very happy you came to relay the message Sabrina, nothing you couldn't have said before," Lucifer eyes flash red giving Sabrina a warning he would not be so passive next time.
Sabrina bows to the both of them.
Lucifer waves his hand and everything blurs again. Sabrina is now standing in her own apartment. She shivers.
She needs a drink, preferably something stronger than wine. Her sister must know what just happened. The triplet Anna was watching her the entire time. Sabrina was sure Lucifer might pick up on it, but if he knew he didn't mention it.
What in the hell is going on?
Has Anna been visiting Hell already?
Those triplets will be the death of the witches coven.
The least thing the witches want is to go against the Underworld God. Even the white witches know better but the birth of those triplets brought a change. They needed the triplets to defeat the four blood hybrid, and Lucifer knew it. So he struck a bargain, again...
His bride or the children,
Anna's life was already compromised by Carlotta's doing.
He got his bride, and left the triplets to help save everyone from the hybrid destroyer.
Sabrina questioned Lucifer's actions.
You could almost believe he wasn't as evil as he presumed to be.
