Chapter 17:
/-Skylar’s POV-/
“You claim to hate me but your body reacts to my touch. You crave for it.” Adonis growled when he finally pulled away to look at me. “I can smell it, the sweet scent of your arousal.” A smirk appeared on his face as he gripped my neck and pulled my face closer once again.
“Adonis_”
“Shut up.” He shoved two of his fingers into my mouth in tow to shut me up. I should have been disgusted. I should have cringed and probably screamed at the sudden intrusion, but I moaned shamelessly.
“Mate is so hot!” Aria purred excitedly, pushing for more.
Adonis began to explore my mouth, reeling in the warmth of my mouth wrapped around his long fingers.
“Tell me, Skylar, what should we do about your arousal? Surely you can’t go back to the pack house like this.” He grinned. Through the alcohol haze covering my vision, I was able to make out the dark look in his eyes.
Finally gathering whatever resolve I had left, I reached for his hand and tried to pull his fingers out. “My boyfriend would help me. Get your hands off me.” My words were muffled by his fingers which he shoved into my mouth again.
I saw the amusement disappear from his eyes, a sudden darkness clouding his features. “By boyfriend, you mean Dwayne?” he asked calmly, moving his fingers.
I nodded, unable to find my voice.
He chuckled and I could swear it was the coldest thing I’d ever heard.
“You can’t do that. That bastard has no right to touch what’s mine. Not now, not ever. You’re mine. Your body and soul.” He dug his fingers deeper, earning a gag from me as my spit curled around his fingers. He finally pulled his hand off and brought those fingers towards my black lacy underwear.
I squirmed when he moved the panties to the side and touched me there. His fingers played with my swollen c**t, rubbing and massaging.
I moaned loudly, the sound of my voice drowned out by sound of the rain pounding heavily on the car.
“Adonis…” I threw my head back and moaned, wishing I could stop him. Wishing I could move his hand away. But when I grabbed his hand, I ended up bringing it closer.
I heard him chuckle again, the sound rich and powerful. “My little w***e,” He muttered.
His fingers rubbed harder until I lost it. Just when I thought I might combust from the pressure building up inside me, Adonis stopped.
“What the hell do you think you’re_” I started to say shamelessly, but paused when I saw the look on his face.
“What?” Adonis tilted his head to the side, the corners of lips curled up wickedly. “Did you say something? I couldn’t hear you with the sound of the rain pounding heavily on the windshield.”
I opened and closed my mouth like a fish out of water, wishing I could just die or something.
Why did the goddess have to do this to me?
As much as I craved his touch. No, not his, but Dwayne’s touch, I couldn't say it out right. I had a little dignity left.
“Oh please.” Aria practically rolled her eyes as she scoffed.
Without waiting, I hurried back to my seat.
Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Adonis shove the two fingers into his mouth and sucked on it. Heat pooled between my legs again and I squeezed it shut.
If he noticed my actions, he didn't let it show on his face or say a word about it. He just started the car with a smile and made his way back to the pack house through the heavy rain.
But then something began to suddenly to change. The world around me began to feel fuzzy, like I was looking at everything through a fog. I was sure the alcohol was finally catching up with me, and I was starting to feel really dizzy.
“I feel… strange,” I blurted out, my words coming out slurred.
Adonis turned to look at me, concern immediately replacing the desire in his eyes. “Skylar? What’s wrong?”
“I think…,” I said, trying to focus on his face, but it kept going in and out of focus.
“s**t,” he muttered, one hand moving to steady me. “How much did you drink tonight?”
“I don’t know,” I said, my head starting to feel really heavy. “A lot. The alcohol was so strong…”
He cursed under his breath. “We need to get you home.”
I tried to say something again to him, but my eyelids were getting so heavy. The combination of the alcohol and the emotional intensity of everything that had happened was making me feel completely exhausted.
“Just rest,” he said instead. “I’ll get you home safe.”
I wanted to stay awake, wanted to keep talking, wanted to figure out what all of this meant. But my body had other plans.
The last thing I remembered was the feeling of his hand gently stroking my hair as he drove, and the sound of his voice softly under his breath.
And then everything went dark.

When I woke up, I was in my own bed, still wearing my red dress from the party. Sunlight was streaming through my windows, and my head was pounding like someone was hitting it with a hammer.
I sat up slowly, trying to remember how I had gotten home. The last clear memory I had was of sitting in Adonis’s car, straddling him, kissing him like my life depended on it.
Had that really happened? Or was it just some crazy dream brought on by too much alcohol?
I looked around my room and saw my red heels placed neatly by the door. Someone had brought me home and put me to bed.
And I had a feeling it wasn't Dwayne.
“It wasn’t a dream!” Aria said excitedly in my mind. “It really happened! Mate brought you home after that make out session.”
I choked. What? Make out session?
I touched my lips, and they still felt swollen from all the kissing. My whole body still felt like it was humming with electricity, even through the hangover.
I remembered Adonis touching me down there. I screamed and ruffled my hair in utter shock.
What the hell had I done?!
