I only really needed one good night’s rest per week. Sure I would still be tired half of the time, but seeing as we were technically at war I was alright with that, there were always plenty of things that needed to get done. All I was asking for, was that one night of the week where I could sleep until I was ready to wake up. Yet every time that night came about, something interrupted my little moment of peace. I was still tired, but a noise coming from the hallway had woken me up. There was something odd about it, something that woke me up instantly. It sounded like a dull thud, followed by hushed whispers. It was the accidental noise of someone trying to be quiet.  I had to remind myself that I was at a hotel, not the coven house.
