The owners gave me about five thousand apologies about what happened with the men, told me that they had reported them to the police and offered to reimburse my money. I didn’t let them, as I had stolen that money from a pimp in Rotterdam and felt that it was much better spent on this family hotel than if I kept it. Besides, it was good to be friendly with them as I had paid for two weeks but I really had no idea how long I would be staying for.  They insisted that I would at least eat for free during my stay, which I did finally agree on.
