"I swear, she wanted it rough. We didn't r**e her or hit her without her say-so, only exactly what she asked for. She paid us for it." One of the arrested boys spoke through the glass. "We thought it was strange at first, but the money was good, so we did it."
"She told us exactly where to hit. Said to stay off her stomach, hurts like hell apparently. Same with her nose, she'd just paid a fortune for a nose job."
I stood on the other side of the one-way glass, listening to confession after confession. Nearly two hours in, and not one of their stories had changed. For the first time, I felt genuinely guilty for ever blaming Ryan for part of what happened that night.
