Selene's POV
My job is simple, Zane was very clear about what he wanted from me. I agreed because I had to pay back the debt I owed for saving my life. I thought that it was going to be simple, that it would be the easiest job I could ever do.
Zane only had one rule for me. I was not allowed to love him. He told me that he would take care of me. That he would treat me fairly. To anyone who has met us in the past, they believed that we were really in a relationship.
I am the only woman who has remained by his side for the last three years. I honestly thought that it would be over and done by now, that I would have finished off repaying my debt to Zane, boy. Was I wrong.
